So according to this, the Macross Bandai DX Chogokin 1/48 VF-1J Valkyrie (Hikaru Ichijo) "Macross Since 1982" edition will be available on the 15th, of November and come in a red box...!?

I also have the VT-1 mounted without the backpack brace, the boosters will hold onto the backpack with the pegs in both the backpack and middle backpack booster. I wouldn't pick up the the VT-1 using the boosters though!

I think the design idea for the 2 seat in step up seating position was taken back in 1984 from the Suchoi Su-27 wich was the only fighter that had this kind of seat configuration back then.

Figure King 319 isn't bad either, almost 40 pages on D.Y.R.L. 40th Anna, with some nice interviews and toy info.... Sadly nothing new presented though.

It doesn't really say Anniversary on the stand, but just since 1982, Although it would have been great if they included a chunky monkey for comparison! and yes they could have done any other Valkerie, too celebrate Macross since 1982! Instead of the third release of this bird!? But I think Bandai just wants to torture their customers at the moment! 😈

Someone posted a video of the 40th Anna. Macros Vf-1J, from this I can't tell a difference too the launch version!? other then the stand or AMM-1's guess we will see in November?

By the way, are we really sure that this VF-1J, November release is going to be a different shade of white? from this picture it sure looks like the regular release!? 🤔

I actually don't use the clips either. I'm just glad that mine all came in perfect condition as well. Sure was a long wait since the announcement last November, but glad I finally have a Super Ostrich back in my collection...🤗 @no3Ljm I'm actually still liking my VF-1D the most, but maybe cause I always wanted one in my collection, and I already had the VT-1!? 🤔 Oh, and I also removed the backpack clip on the VT-1, this gives the backpack boosters a better angle. 😉

Sorry to hear that this is going to be a problem for you, in just getting a replacement. It is @LUNA PARK that is responsible to replace your Ostrich and not Bandai! I am glad that they actually canceled my order after @LUNA PARK actually lied to me several times about when they where going to ship! I ordered from two dealers shortly after PO and both sent my Ostriches in perfect condition! and LP was really only a backup... Their services are NOT RECOMMENDED!!! All three of my Ostriches did arrive in perfect condition with even no damage to the boxes! So I hope you get your problem fixed since it is a nice Bird!

Sounds great hope to have your thoughts on the bird soon! But since both the VF-1D and VT-1 are trainers would be great if you finally did a review on both since I'm sadly still miss you're review on the VF-1D... 😉

It might not have been picked up on time, since it's a holiday week over in Japan! I received two off my Ostriches (Not @LUNA PARK) 🤬 just before the holiday started and waiting for one more from another dealer wich also showed what you are dealing with... But some dealers have really dropped the ball on customer service over there, and some I will not recommend dealing with at all! 🤬

Look they have sent out probably 50+ units since the release on the 17th, received on the 19th. I ORDERED IN JANUAR, on the 27th. so saying that they have too wait for two is BS!! there are probably 5 people here who ordered after that date, and have received theirs.... 🤬 A store that doesn't work on a first order first ship basses is not practicing proper business etiquette! and charging people for premium, to think they would get faster shipping, but still delaying the shipping and for filling new orders instead, is just plain deceptive! But since @LUNA PARK doesn't even chime in anymore, shows where this is going! Nippon Yassin should be a reminder to everybody when you screw your well paying customers!

They keep saying we will check with the warehouse... But no tracking # or firm shipping date! They also said that because I ordered two, that's what's the delay!? 🙄
