So who is hoping for a (Mechanic Edition)? So in this picture you can clearly see that there using decals for the prototype so there is hope the will change the number... A nice large pic of the side view!
-
I for one hope they do something about the number, 102 was already used for the VF-1D, so hopefully this is just a prototype mistake...
-
So 4 Figures = 40,000yen...π€ Maybe we get 5 and Minmai is showering nude in the tent! π±

Oh WOW! I actually thought it was too soon for this, Hence my comment from previous page. But very exited to finally be able to get one to replace my 1:55 Chunky Monkey my Mom gave away...π₯ So this will probably release in March!? Awesome hope we get more detail on Saturday! π Thanks for posting! ππ»It would be really cool if this had (Mechanical Edition) Gimmick,,, So next up VE-1? π€
-
As of yet, No! The only none white version was the VF-1D I also just noticed that there is only the left sided missile launcher with the right side being the strike cannon, I hope they didn't glue the red Skull Squadron emblem! I would really like to use this with the VF-1A Hayao Kakizaki π

I think it would be kind of pointless to rerelease the movie/tv super parts without the new gimmick! I also think that they wanted to do this from the get go, but didn't have the engineering figured out at the beginning, hence them gluing the first release... I'm sure from now on all ValK's will feature (Mechanical Edition) Gimmick. Since the changed the box art radically different from the previous releases, I wander if we are entering a new phase?

So it looks like we might get teased with another release on Saturday, Anyone want to speculate what it might be...? I'm hoping for a VF-1A Brownie (Cannon Fodder) or Max/Milia VF-1J! I think a VT-1 or VE-1 is too soon at this moment π€

I agree! But also think they should have released this as a VF-1A with number 011 (D.Y.R.L.) and just throw in the corrected tails from Hikaru & Hayao as a bonus to fix the lot. I got a scare when watching the Macross TV series from the VF-1D and thought the fracked up the number on that as well!? but I guess they anime artist back then where not very consistent as well...
-
@Shawn thanks for the list! I was able to get two preorders in while visiting Japan, I'm now actually more interested what the box will be like, since this is the first Valk with Super Parts... π€

Jungle in Osaka was well stoked, Mandrake near Osaka station didn't have anything when I was there, but you might follow the website from Mandrake for the models since they do list them online and tell you which store has stock, I found two small dealers in one of those long malls, but sadly I don't remember where or there names... Maybe some more people can chime in on there experience if they where there!?
-
Should be able to tilt towards the front away from the hips and then pull out!?
-
@Lolicon Those stand look great! Will they also hold the 1:48 DX series? especially the ones holding more then one Valk...?

I have a question to my Roy. The yellow circle on the backpack is white on mine, although in this picture from the Tamaschi web site its clearly showing yellow... Am I missing something?

I'm sure Bandai got there inspiration from this picture for all the detailing... When I bought my first Yamato and Super Strike set back in 2003, I liked the model but the lack of printing put me off! I inspected the model and then filed it away in my closet. That Bandai went a little overboard is honestly fine by me, at least they looks impressive right out of the box.

Thanks, not my fault that it's incomplete, after all what happened to this? Bandai is such a Teese....

Skull! β οΈβ οΈπ»π»π»β οΈβ οΈ Just Getting one of each, makes for a pretty big pile.....

I'm sure the second release is imminent, since this was there faste's selling model! Maybe the will release it as a complete set with Strike Parts (Mechanic Edition), Missiles. and the Armour that they teases us with three years ago... DHL just sent a message the my Roy Focker Special is actually arriving today... π€

So I'm receiving my VF-1S Roy Focker Special on Friday, I was wandering is this the TV or Movie version, or does it really mater? Was there any differences between the two... Bandai released the TV Super Parts almost at the same time as this Valk. So it would indicate its a TV version.

Thanks, sorry my English isn't perfect I was actually wandering what other accessories Bandai Spirit could make out of pictures from the movie or TV series that have not been realized yet!? I guess your mention of the Thunder Hammer or the atmospheric booster would be two... But are they canon?

Thanks for your link! I found one for 39,000 yen brand new from a dealer in Ginza! So thanks for the link! so other then the Mechanic Edition I'm almost complete... Looking back at all the release date there was nothing presented in 2022!? Hope they make up for it next year with D.Y.R.L. anniversary coming up next year! I was looking at all the accessories I scored, was there ever any accserory released from another company that Bandai Spirits hasn't covered yet? I dd get the Yamato strike set with the mechanic detail back in 2003, but was there anything else for the VF-1's? I did se some line drawings of add-ons but nothing as models. Just asking since we can never have too many accessories! π
