The sent me an e-mail last week saying the would ship after the weekend... Hope they don't turn out to be a Nippon -Yason! âšī¸ You think if you pay for Premium Service with fast shipping they would actually ship, instead of trying to get new orders, since the people that already paid can wait!? đ¤Ŧ but maybe @LUNA PARK can shime in?
-
This is one of my pre-orders as well, and I haven't gotten a shipping notice yet either. although they have marked it as being in stock! Not happy with their service!!! đĄ
-
Congrats! Where is you'r drug store? I got an email from one off my supplier that my drugs have also been dispatched...đ¤Ē

Great! Thanks! đ
-
Thanks! Nice pics.... But you still haven't answered my question....
-
Guess when you'r an Old Fart like me, patience pays off! When I first started collecting Takatoku & Bandai 1/55 VF-1 Toys, I always wanted the VF-1D. Even Yamato didn't fore-fill my dreams, and now more the 40 years later, I finally got my wish! Got to have patience young Padawan! đ
-
Thanks! Your's ? Is the Skull Emblem exchangeable like the other Super/Fast packs? The clear parts look better then the ones from Yamato...
-
But the Vermilion Platoon already has two releases with VF-1J Valkyrie (Hikaru Ichijo) and VF-1A Valkyrie (Maximilian Genus) there is still only really, one Skull Squadron release so far but Bandai has teased two others... Guess we will all have to wait and see đ
-
I alway thought the TV versions of Max or Kaki's VF-1A where the most boring Valk's in the show, since the hardly had any detailing. I myself would be more interested in Max or Millia's VF-1J but more hoping the finish the movie skull squadron where only the Hayao Kakizaki VF-1A has been released.Has anyone figured out Bandai's pattern for their releases!?

For the most part it does look like the mould is finished! But we will have to wait and see if they keep it as is.... There is a gap in the leg booster that needs addressing since it's not flush, but the wings and cockpit hump as well as the length of the two seaters look correct! if they change the front thrusters to match properly is also a big question. but its not a deal breaker for me! but would be nice! Now the big question for everyone is probably when is PO and release!?

I blame Kenichi Matsuzaki! đ

My thoughts exactly, I read that the initial VT-1, 1:55 didn't sell very well, but today is well sought after. I don't know how well the 1:60 High MetalR line sold!? Since the Chogokin VF-1D is almost always sold out from Mandrake, the VT-1 and VE-1 will do well! And the VT-1/VE-1 share the same mould in most parts, its almost a given that we will see the VE-1 soon...
-
Ok, Thanks for that! So VT-1 Super Ostrich and the rest of the Skull Squadron, Guess that's fine by me! Maybe VE-1 at the end of the year would be a great roundup for the 40th D.Y.R.L. Anna...đ¤ Hopefully all (Mechanic Edition) đ

So the 5pm discussion on "Macross" didn't reveal anything? Can't really believe that! đ
-
So the 5 PM event didn't reveal anything??? đĨ
-
No! To Large, too detailed, too expensive, Hard to get, too costly to ship! and hence the above picture break when applying, way to much force... đ¤Ē
-
But the the VF-1D is also marked VT 1023 in the TV series as well đ¤Ē But then again Tanjin Hidetaka marked one of his pictures with 607, so who knows...
-
Not on the VF-1D! If on the VT-1 Super Ostrich is not clear, but I dought it!
-
It was released this week for the lottery members, the next release is the Ostrich! It will probably have it's PO on Christmas like the VF-1D...
-
True, Just hope the live stream can be watched outside of Japan or someone can grab it and repost for the rest of the world! đ¤
-
Yes, except for the Focker and the hopefully soon to arrive (mechanic Edition) a was able to source them in Osaka. Yes since these are Japan exclusives I was glad to finally have the time to take a trip as far away from Oktoberfest as possible, so a return to Japan after almost 40 years was a nice trip. Didn't really anticipate being able to get all of these, VF-1S Focker and VF-1D would have made the trip alone, but since I was there I grabbed what I could! I'm a collector who likes a complete series, and still have all of my 1:55 Bandai rereleases from around 2000, and would have had a complete original 1982/3 release as well...đĨ

Wasn't meant to be negative! I'm new to this series as well, having purchased the complete series this year, 2022 was really sad with no release at all. So already one really anticipated release already made my year. Let's see how the rest unfolds... Very hopeful đ¤

I think for most people here, this is one of there most anticipated releases! It also opens the door that the VE-1 (Elintseeker) is around the corner! 2024 is going to be a great year with D.Y.R.L. 40th Anniversary, They will probably also complete the Skull Squadron next year! I for myself am happy with this ONE release for 2024!
