Apologies for the phone camera, but ever since I saw this configuration, I've wanted to do it, and I've never seen anyone post it on here... It's the red, white, and blue! Episode 14 special!! With a black gunpod. Because why would anyone want a lavender gunpod?

I would be all over a 1/60v2 1A HQ Guard, for the following reason: I would put my TV Kakizaki figure in there and make it a "retcon" TV green Kakizaki. I would also love to get a darkbird. A super 1A darkbird would look killer. Or any head variant really.

I chose yes. I've never felt that adding what I would deem crucial details such as the rescue arrows, pilot name, carrier name, and a few other markings, made my valks less anime accurate... I figure the animation budget of SDFM was too modest for them to constantly draw them in there. But in my 'mind's eye' or whatever, the SDFM valks have those markings. If I had the patience, I would apply the NO STEP markings to the slats and flaps, but I never do. F that, man.

Agreed, for a long time after seeing Mr March's site I thought TV Roy's triangles were red, but when I checked the show recently I was pretty surprised to see them as yellow. Also agree on everything Mr March has done for us, totally immeasurable.

So uh, what are we supposed to see about millia's 1J that is bad?

I guess, but I allways took the leg stripes as a link to max, and his red leg stripes as a link to milia. Oh well, minor detail. Anyway I got my shipping notice today, jawesome. Also, I just noticed that max's eject and intake markings are grey as well... odd...

Man, I can't wait for mine to ship, but I am disappointed that the stripes on Milia's legs are grey instead of blue for some reason.

I dunno, while red tipped missiles would be cool, it looks like a photoshop. Check out the pilot, the tips of the folded tails, and the skull marking on the boosters.

Oh man, I love that Indian hand holding the tomahawk sticker, put the Daedalus one on mine. I wish they had included something like that for the defender.

They did repaint it, for the bird of prey. And give it a new name. Ms. Amy Cunningam has a grey flight suit.

If you're talking about gunpod71's pics, those are DYRL fast packs actually. The front of the arm units don't slope back.

Umm, you know the head machine guns are articulated, and you could just pose them pointing up, right? That oughta destroy the frog head look.

I hate to keep the steady derailment going, but I noticed something interesting about the TV roy 1S... I used to think it had red shoulder triangles, as seen on Mr. March's site. But I watched an episode or two recently (forget which ones) and it definitely had yellow shoulder triangles. Maybe it has red triangles in other episodes, I don't know...

Wow, alot of meh-ness going on about the YF-19s. Personally I love (almost) anything in flight test orange and white and the 'bird of prey' or whatever will be mine! Oh and the Gamlin VF-22 looks great too of course.

If you're talking about the hexagons, I have a simple trick: remove the hexagonal stripes and the black inner filler hexagon as one from the sticker sheet. Apply these, then remove the inner hexagon. By doing this, my ozma's shoulders look a hell of alot better than my Alto's.

Today I got the shipping notice from HLJ for my SMS action base stands, don't know if that had been mentioned yet or not.

It always seemed natural to me that hikaru skipped the 1A phase because he was already an excellent civilian pilot, he just needed to learn to be a combat pilot.

As far as the unreleased BGM is concerned, I find it funny that, when I think back on the series, the mix of Alto's theme that sticks out most in my mind is the (unreleased) oboe version. That, and the "James bond kiss" theme that played in episode 10 are the songs I want most.
