FYI- Per Toynami (Summarized): Macross Super Poseable Action Figures has been cancelled. Please note that the Macross assortment will now consist of the VF-1S Roy Fokker, The VF-1A Hikaru Ichijo, and the VF-1A Maximillian Jiinas. The VF-1A Hayao Kakizaki is now cancelled and will not be shipping with the others. -Kevin

I am sorry to hear about the condition of the box. I'm extremely surprised it came dinged considering that I packed it with extreme care based on your "I desire a nice box note" and email: 1) The bottom of the box was covered with ~3 sheets of crumbled unprinted newspaper 2) "L" shaped foam pieces were used to cover opposite corners of the Super VF1J box bottom 3) Bubblewrap covered the top cover of the box 4) "L" shaped foam pieces were used to cover opposite corners of the Super VF1J box top (opposite of the bottom fittings) 5) The top of the box was covered with 2-3 sheets of crumbled unprinted newspaper In all, there was ~ 1 inch cushioned gap around the entire toy...I don't know how you can cite poor packaging considering the effort put out....It is likely USPS man-handling these parcels... If you would like to exchange to the box, I'd be happy to do so. Just let email me. -Kevin

I don't recall series two announced by RT.COM or officially through Toynami. So anyhow, I just got the catalog and figured it would be something to share with everyone. It looks like the the figure is a first sample prototype...I don't see that much detail on the lions or Voltron as a whole... It's nice to see another Voltron going to be out but Toynami has some expectations to live up to or exceed with the older Voltron toys out there... -

Folks, keep in mind the show is for people in the "industry". You have to have the proper business licenses, sales tax permits, etc. to register and get in... Even then, you have to have appointments with the mfgs/dealers. Morever, you can't just walk into their showroom. I walked into Hasbro's showroom the first year and they basically told me to leave since I didn't have an appointment. The larger companies have a receptionist area blocking you from going into the showrooms. -K

I've just got off the phone with Toynami and they indicated that these "DYRL" figures will be officially announced at ToyFare 2004. Looks like RT.COM got the scoop before the show... I guess lagging behind year after year on RT news makes RT.COM look bad in the eyes of fans and they are finally getting with the program. Additionally, I hear (NOT CONFIRMED) that these DYRL figures are going to be available to retailers, released in Summer 2004. The original Macross Poseables were an HG/RT.COM exclusive and my thoughts were that it was done so to protect Toynami in the event there is some backlash from BW. If these figures are readily available to retailers, this open up a can of worms for Macross DYRL toy imports. -Kevin

There is another HK Mac. Zero DVD which contains ep. 1 and 2. The video is quite good on this version. -K
