The thing is where I go, the dealers beat their prices by $30-$40, plus no tax or shipping. But they aren't well informed, so they wouldn't know a VF-1S from a Gelgoog. I need to know of a visual way to tell without opening it. Thanks

I recommend the use of a gray marker in lieu of a black one.

Is there a way to tell a 1/48 ver.2 VF-1S from and old one from the box? Is there a different SKU# or a sticker? I've waited on purchasing one because of the earlier problems. I'd hate to buy one now and still get stuck with an old one. Thanks
