  1. THUNDER HUMMER !!!! whoa, yeah baby
  2. WOW ! Now I like that a lot man. Good job !
  3. Yeah but I don't think Kakizaki was a grandmother... Aaaaaw, forget it.
  4. Don't feel stupid, any Navy pilot I know has never worn a camo helnet in the gulf (At least not while flying) and I've never seen a picture of one either, perhaps there was some confusion, since Marine Pilots fly off of carriers too. I don't no about the A-10 thing but that doesn't really sound like the Air Force's style. That's why I asked where the info came from. Thank god my grandmother did not fly off carriers either, can you imagine the confusion then...
  5. My grand mother too use to wear a green helmet to do her gardening... Sorry guys, I now realize that the marines are not the only ones...
  6. Wow these are great, The only concern I have with painting one of my 1/48 if that I fear rubbing off the paint when transforming however I plan to buy a Fast pack set and paint it in low viz colors for sure.
  7. Just read a magazine and noticed that only the US Marines pilots wear a combat green helmet. Its actually a distinction from all other flying air corps that clearly states they are part of a land force. The yammie VF-1a low viz's pilot wears a green helmet so this must be a marines plane doesn't it ? I think I will get Anasazi's stickers as soon as his production is back. What do you guys think ?
  8. I'm not certain if I like it either. If I really felt like painting my low viz valk's missiles, I'd probably stick with a low viz color like some kind of "cream" color or something. Still you did a good job.
  9. HEY !!! WHO ARE YOU CALLING "A BIG ONE" IT'S REAL HARD FOR ME TO STAY SLIM !!!! oh the picture.... Soooooory !
  10. You mean the landing lights can pop out ??? Gotta check that out, this one would be a beotch to find on the carpet I tell ya. Thanks for the heads up guys (runs towards terrified battroid with my glue pot...)
  11. I actually used Humbrol liquid polycement to glue the large missiles that came with the fastpack to their pylons since they always fell and it did an excellent (and invisible) job.
  12. Nice pic, dr_vandermeer, is there a way I could get a bigger scan of this image, looks interesting. thanks
  13. I'm not exactly sure where it came from (i just can't remeber...) but I think it came from a f14 kit I built a while ago.
  14. OMG Sithlord, That blueprint looks kick ass. If it didn't take too much shelve space I'de probably ask you permission to make it like yours. Mine is not nearly as detailed as yours, it's actually inspired be the Yamato stand that Graham showed a while ago to make us sufer...when we only saw 1/48s in our dreams... Damn you Graham... Ahem !... Looks hyper cool, I'll post picks later.
  15. Know what, If I keep seeing the Fastpacks on the low viz, I may actually buy one for mine too and paint it in a low viz scheme, these things look too damn good. Also all the actual body is easily detachable from the fram so it should be a jiffy to paint the thing.
  16. COOOOL... I have to say I like this color scheme even better than the original. What kind of cardboard did you use and how did you print ?
