  1. I wish I knew sooner that it was available at Wonderfest. I would buy it if it's available.
  2. If my memory is right, the VF-4 release by Club-M can be assemble in the fighter version or the gerwalk version.
  3. I believe you can use strong adhesive tape to remove the decal.
  4. Petar, you'd managed to finally found the best place to place the Minmay decal.
  5. I got the 1/72 Lancer kit too. I was thinking on how to add a cockpit in to this kit and I somehow bump into someone's website in Japan building a non scale Lancer with a cockpit. This i sthe same guy that made the VF-9 I bought http://air.ap.teacup.com/applet/tac1991/1807_1/image
  6. They were fixed pose resin kit sculpt by the same guy who is in charge of revoltech. The collection was called Robot Museum and the first of the series was the VF-1 aroung the scale of 1/220. Then they release the Gunbuster, Orgun, SPT Lazner, Macross 7, Virtual On, Gao Gai Gar, BaanGaan and Zone of Enders. He later went in to releasing the Revoltech series and stopped making resin kits. Here is the link to Yahoo Auction on some of the products http://auctions.search.yahoo.co.jp/search?tab_ex=commerce&ei=euc-jp&fr=auc-prop&rkf=1&p=%BB%B3%B8%FD%BE%A1%B5%D7&auccat=0&alocale=0jp&acc=jp
  7. Indeed I agree with Ultimateone that the sooner the project comes to completion the sooner there'll chances for another Macross release (hopefully in 1/72). It's just torture for not getting the Mospeada kit. Anyways it's just really not the scale I'm looking for. I'll wait for the 1/72 from Wave if they are really going to release it.
  8. Still hoping to get another 1/72 Phalanx of the captain's version. Wave seems to be very quiet about this kit these days.
  9. Wow... I believe everyone needs several sets. I need a few sets myself
  10. Yeah, thanks for offering this kit. I'd got one from another supplier here in HK and I also have the soft vinyl one.
  11. Ap Liu Street in the best place to get hardwares and electronic stuff. And a few blocks away is the Computer Mall. Yes G-system has a shop in Mong Kok which is two MTR stations away from Ap Liu Street but they open late in the night around 7pm. For thrusters and other metal bits you can get at other shops in Mong Kok. Regarding the MaKs it will be better if you know which specific models you like so that I can ask around.
  12. Hi there, Can't help much on most of the items you're looking for: - 1/72 YF-25 Prophecy (only seen it on yahoo auction). - Regult Scout and Missile Carrier (have not seen them in model shop for a long time) - Ma.K stuff (depends on whether you need resin kits or plastic kits) - cheap 1/700 ships for greeblies (you can get them at UML) - HO scale (or smaller) train parts and diorama stuff (I know a few of the shops that carries them) - a lot of small LED lights, fiber optics, blinkers, miniature motors and other electrical stuff (you can go to Ap Liu Street in Sham Shui Po. easy to get there via MTR). When are you coming over and for how long? May be I can take you to some of the places. PM me.
  13. I'd seen the kit in person. Someone here in Hong Kong bought it from Japan Wonder Festival. He'd contracted someone here to build for him.
  14. Coming kits to be release in 1/500 scale. Must have!!! http://ga.sbcr.jp/mreport/017183/
  15. For clear purple had anyone tried spraying a layer of clear red on top of a layer of clear blue? When I was building something of gold color, I usually spray a clear coat of clear yellow on top of a layer of silver paint. Then I'd spray another coat of clear orange on top of these two coats of paint. The end result is very encouraging. Of course several trials had to be made before a good effect can be achieve.
  16. More previews from current issue of Model Graphix.
  17. Indeed, it's 16 more yrs until my retirement... So few kits being built and yet still buying....
  18. Thank you for all the interest and encouragments. Thor is now included in the "MayBeOneDay List" along with Cool8or, Jardann and BigF. I am really going to finish this project. The difficulty this one is as much as any others. The hard thing is to make it possible to fit on to the Hasegawa kit and then the possibility on casting them. Then decide on the right dimension and shape that is more closely ressemble to the original artwork. Panel lines and details were finally added after intense research on all the artworks I have gathered. After detailed inspection I can now begin to work on the right lower right armour. It's more challenging than the lower left armour plates due to the need to make them symmetric. Here are the pics: enjoy Christopher
  19. Forgotten about the other VF-11 release by Repptu..... Anyways, already preordered two kits at HLJ
  20. Just saw in HobbyLink that Hasegawa is already planning for release of a 1/72 VF-11B in fighter mode this year. They are already accepting preorders. Too bad I just bought an original kit by Tanmen.... But it won't stop me from getting an injection kit Anyways, below is the link to the announcement. http://www.hlj.com/product/hsg65722
