Just an example of *not* going with EMS (on From Japan):

QQ, now that pandemic restrictions are lifting in my part of the world my game group is back together. We're playing Dungeons & Dragons 5e, and although we've been gaming together for a long time (since 3.5e) I think the less crunchy rules combined with being away from the game for awhile have me more into it than ever. I was wondering, do enough MWers play D&D, or at least some tabletop RPGs, that it's worth spinning off into a new thread?
Still playing, though mostly with friends on discord now. Here's a part of my old D&D book collection:
I have a ton of TTRPGs and other board games (including a lot of old Avalon Hill games). My pictures from earlier in the thread all seem to have broken links for some reason.

I'm not a model guy, but I had to PO Set 1, even if it means I have to put them together terribly.

The shipping container situation is BAD! Then even if you get them in a container and to the port of LA they sit there forever because there aren't enough workers to get them unloaded fast.
I just had to have 4 pallets of product I have manufactured in China sent UPS because I couldn't wait in sea shipping.
I have a buddy who does logistics for one of the big wood pellet grill companies. They're loosing money on their Walmart deal right now because everything has to come air. Walmart isn't into excuses. It's so bad that they have been looking into buying their own planes.
Yeah- the Battletech folks just gave an update on our Wave 2 Clan kickstarter stuff- they talked about how one of the ships that was supposed to pick up their containers just kept going past and never went into port, leaving all the folks with containers for that ship scrambling to get their stuff on another ship (at crazy extortionate prices). Between covid slow downs and that whole Suez blocking thing, shipping is so backed up and screwed up that it isn't funny.

Just so that everyone is made aware, there are plans for the production of a 1/48 Biopsycher (hereafter Hemmoroid) in 2022, either late Winter/Spring or later in the year. You have at least 8 months to get your wallets ready.
Who doesn't want three Hemmoroids?

Nope, but I'd get one, despite how much my wife would harass me for "dressing up my dolls".

@jenius noted in his review that they look like they have attachment points on the leg for a tread, along with the display arm for fighter mode looking like a tread connection. But nobody has seen any prototypes and such yet. I'll be happy just to get an indication of PO for the Houquet ride armor soon.

I got one larger one but I'm one of the few so far.

So they removed Noel from a "management" position potentially to smooth things over with BW?

I'm loving seeing your poses!

Wait! There is 1/48 scale (or something like that) Tachikoma? Can you tell me who made it?
I have some that aren't super far from 1/48. I forget the set, though.

Yeah- shipped some stuff with From Japan and it cheapest at the time was FedEx International Priority. DHL was still cheaper than EMS, but I think a lot of factors vary to make things cheaper at any one time from each vendor- size of package, weight of package, vendor agreement with shipper, etc.

More like "Here's my homage to the Matchbox toy. Maybe Super7 will produce the design for their ReAction line."
At this point I'd almost get a ReAction line one, as terrible as all those are.
Almost. -

Are some of those customs? I have a Yamato 1/60 VF-1S low viz coming and I wasn't sure which one of yours is the same one. I'm just wanting to see how the colors look in different lighting.
Those are 1/48 low vis customs. The 1/60 you got is darker like the more left ones above rather than the bluer right one.
-
Yeah, definitely thought it was an odd scale, especially if they are planning on more 1/100 scale Zentraedi figures in the future.
OTOH, if I get a free one I'm not going to complain either. -

Now we know why we don't see them as often on the secondary market. @Kicker773 bought them all
I only have two myself!
But I do see them pop up sometimes in the $200s on the Japanese shops. I'll keep an eye out for you. -
That and @nightmareB4macross's strange GBPless KO with GBP on the box. But I'm pretty sure that's not what the OP is looking for.

Question for you 1/48 collectors. How have your Valk's been holding up after all these years? Yamato was really the only one who made them in that scale correct? I had a bunch years ago but had to sell them because of adult stuff. Thought about maybe getting one or two that I still miss.
For 1/48s I stuck with the noncannon black and gray valks: one anniversary black and gold, 2 stealth 1Js (one strike, one in urban GBP), 1 low vis 1A. All have held up well (pictured with DX Roy and Max).

Isaac Asimov's Foundation
in Anime or Science Fiction

I forgot about this coming up but have been re-reading the novels (did Foundation through Foundation and Earth, plus Robots of Dawn, Robots & Empire, and the short story collection by other folks Foundation's Friends). I am now most of the way through the first prequel Prelude to Foundation, so it is interesting to see what they do with the property. While a lot of action happens "off screen" in the books, it shouldn't be difficult for them to milk that action (especially since they can go detailed).
