As for Plus, I have been looking into obtaining a copy of the movie version anyway (Plus I have already seen before, but not the movie edition) so I might be able to help you out in that department eventually.

In the discussion for the VF-25 model kit we were talking about the super pack accessories and that got me thinking about the same for the DX. We know the DX will have super part accessories, that recent photo shows them in the works. However are we to assume they will be included in the initial VF-25 DX lines or will they come later? And then if they do come later, will you have to get another VF-25 DX toy to get the super packs, or could they be separate? I have a feeling the super packs being sold separately may be unlikely.

If that is true, then I'd say if you want VF-25 with super packs but don't want to buy it twice, just waiting until the super pack set. However if you are willing to buy 2 VF-25's then you can display both, with with packs and one without. Kind of a win win situation in my book, even though I'm not likely to buy 2 considering my money problems. Besides I am thinking of holding out for the DX, which is finally starting to look up.

Glad to help. As for screening other Macross shows, well I need to have them before I can screen them and that is the tricky part. This is especially true as I refuse personally to pay for a rapidshare account so the iMacross stuff doesn't do me a lot of good. I have all Frontier, and I am only holding Zero ep.1, but the rest of that is easier to get. I have a few other markers out there though I might be able to get other stuff from if you want something specific, but I'd need to know what you'd want to see if I could find an episode of good quality to screen. So if you want anything from like Macross 7 for example, I'd need to know where it is to find it, especially since I've never watched 7 so I wouldn't know much anyway.

If that is going to happen, we will probably know by the time the 1/72 kit is out, at which point I'd suggest waiting until the 25 + Super parts kit comes out to get the whole thing and save money. However it seems in Japan model accessory kits happen often, but not in America (despite the fact that this would never come out in America) where here they do everything in a big set, you don't often see accessory sets.

It wouldn't make much sense for Mikhail to pilot a suit designed for female Zentradi though... Bobby yes, Mikhail not so much.

Those are just buildings behind Ozma, that's from ep.2 right after he knifed the lobster. In actuality what is behind Ozma in battroid mode is actually the cockpit canopy as it ends up facing backward from the Valk in battroid mode (sort of the opposite of the VF-1 which is facing forward). I always assumes what they see through in battroid mode in front of them is a screen projected on the floor of the cockpit as their seats are rotated so they aren't sitting sideways. Edit: Oh I see, you were just asking if it was the canopy, well I answered that anyway, it is.

Those were some really good pics. Some of these fan arts over exaggerate the breasts more than the show does, but some seem to do it better, not that I dwell on these things. If we were to have a club president, I'd think the founder of the organization would be the best, but we don't need a hierarchy until B.O.I.N.G. launches an attack against us, and that's only if this turns into fan boy(or girl) gang wars.

Well Robotech did make SDF-1 a bigger deal to the Zentradi and the others that were associated (I wouldn't know, I only ever watched the Macross portion of it anyway before migrating to actual Macross) but I don't think that is where I got that idea. I'm probably thinking of something else entirely but I can't remember what so I was thinking maybe it was this.

Indeed, I love this transformation system, it makes a lot of sense. Although it ends up putting the cockpit of the fighter as the ass of the battroid, . Hmm I can't remember, but even before SDF-1 was under human control, when it was ASS-1 wasn't it some type of prototype or have a prototype fold system? Not only does Alto's VF get damaged again, this is technically a new VF because his old one blew up (Gilliam is flying his old plane in the afterlife now at least).

I always wondered if their small form was literally a clone body or not, apparently it may be.. however this chamber seems to just convert her to energy and rematerializes her as a giant. And it is obvious about Mikhail, he is a super trekkie and just is wearing Spock ears!

March Sounds like you from what I can gather, TOS was when they didn't have any explanation for warp drive. Back then it was just a fancy name for a reason they can travel faster than light and go so many places, but it inspired generations to come. Every trekkie loves TOS, but I happen to be one that likes them all (except for Star Trek V, that was bad.... and the Voyager episode Threshold... that just didn't happen, it is too wrong.....)

Well I loved this episode, may be my favorite yet. A mix of character intrigue and back story with good mecha action, Mikhail's VF-25G is my personal favorite of the Skull Squadron fighters. Blue was always my favorite color (Max is also a favorite of mine in any series) but I also like the sniper abilities. I hope the G variant is released in the DX line form Bandai (which hopefully will be looking better once the product is finished). I'm going to have fun screen capping this episode for my picture library, I think I'll be having a new avatar of the 25G to replace my current one soon. I thought they did the animation in this ep very well indeed I seriously can't wait for subs on this one, I want to understand everything along with the superficial coolness that this episode was.

Yes you are entitled to your opinion, and I have no problem with that, Trek means a lot to me as it is what inspired me to want to be an Astronautical Engineer. Don't get me wrong though, I don't see Trek being any more accurate than any other Sci-fi... that's why they call it Science Fiction. Parts of Science Fiction becomes Science Fact every day though, not to say that anything major from Star Trek has become real specifically, I'm just saying it is a window to possibilities. The show isn't trying to base itself on what we know to be true now (obviously) but what might be possible. I'd have to imagine in 300 years we might have a different understanding of science than we do now, and thats how you need to look at it, not with the idea of science as we have today but how it might change based on discoveries and innovations. Apart from that, you are absolutely right, not much in Star Trek has any basis in science as we know it, it is still science fiction. As for warp, I the only theories I know on Star Trek warp are the Alcubierre drive and the 'Okuda drive' which is supposedly the in universe explanation by Michael Okuda, who designed a lot of the stuff for TNG. There probably are many revisions, but your version sounds like a revision of the Alcubierre concept I've read about. However, it matters not, the issue is behind us. Let us move on to Macross-stuff. Onto the fold, indeed then if the compendium says it that must be how it works in the Macross Universe, I was giving my idea how it worked based on modern day wormhole theory. So on that note, the Trek discussion is closed and I think we can only speculate on the fold faults until they give a better explanation in the universe. When you put it that way, yeah they are all similar. However when dealing with manipulating the fabric of space time, you need to be specific and when you get into the specifics on how things work like I like to spend my time doing, you start seeing the differences. Bacon-space, sounds very tasty.
