    Yeah no worries, lol. I definitely get it, nothing is standard right now. As an engineer myself I can certainly understand those challenges.

    I don't know what bothered people back then so much about it to bully you but I think it looks pretty neat. Most people don't go into the kind of detail you did and frankly that's worth a lot. Also if it's for an RPG it just has to be internally consistent anyway. I say be proud of your creation even it others can't be bothered.

    You mean penetrate the Earth Defense Grid? With a VF based on a monkey model spec of the YF-24 that Earth has the full specs for molded into a VF-24 that is supposedly more capable than the Uber expensive Vajra-killer YF-29? Also an Earth that has a defense grid designed to protect against their own creation by now and the experience of knowing they have to account for a type of attack exactly like what Isamu did before? It might not be impossible, but it might as well be. Even if the disparity in defensive technology and Earth's way way more powerful VFs compared to the cheap knockoffs Brisingr makes wasn't a factor, Isamu basically did one thing that actually helped Earth, he showed a vulnerability they could patch, and almost certainly have. Basically, he ruined it for any future attackers wanting to infiltrate the planet the same way lol.

    To my knowledge, the Fold Dimensional Resonance system isn't used for superluminal travel, it's basically a better version of the Fold Wave system, and it can also break through fold faults. I suppose that means if used in concert with normal fold travel it could pop on through them... but considering the quality of fold quartz you'd need to use it.. might as well just slap on a super fold booster, which also needs that fold quartz to work, and just do it that way with any craft.

    If you only ever talked to western audience members like on this forum who aren't big on Delta you might not know that the Japanese audience, which the show is made for, absolutely loves it. They also love the real Walkure idol group, and both make great money over there. So yeah its got follow ups. The first movie is just the usual retelling of the shows plot with with a lot of trim (and even more Walkure). The second movie, still to release, is a brand new story set after the show. We don't know many details however.

    I think crippling overspecification doesn't fit the YF-29. It is definitely an over expensive powerhouse that isn't economical in the slightest, but it certainly pays its debts... If it could be used more than once without Alto wrecking it. If anything deserves the term crippling overspecification, it's the Sv-262, which pretty much only works well in atmosphere cause it's users are so gung ho about the wind and having the most ornate and cool looking transformation they have no fuel storage. My two cents, I'll leave the rest for the people with the data.

    It's obviously a deep dive into the shade of yellow paint used in the plane. I wondered if it was a joke actually cause, today, and I couldn't make the link work. EDIT: I've seen the link in another topic now so I guess it is real. I still have none of the books except the VF-19 one anyway lol, but it sounds like other VF-1 books would be a better buy.

    It's far too early to tell if this virus will still be as big a problem by October. It might be, it might not.. for now I think it's easier to assume the con will go on and they can cancel closer to the date if they have to.

    If we're competing on who got less I'm in the group with a Messer 31F and a 31A (I got a 262 as well but that's a different thread). No multiples, I don't do that. I do kinda wish I had gotten super parts for Messer before the price hike but I couldn't really afford it at the time. Haven't checked the rates on that since.

    I'm pretty confident they were a Brisingr NUNS Fleet. Perhaps the only proper one in the otherwise poorly operated cluster. They almost certainly had VF-171s, but considering how they were defeated, it might not have mattered.

    I might plan ahead more and actually go Delta level, maybe even stay for the after party. I like calmer things myself, plus except for Seto I've never been able to really get to know anyone there. But I've only been twice.

    I can totally understand how that goes, I hear similar stories where I work all the time. Like said, if it takes more time than that's how it is. Life is always in front lol. Good to hear it's leveling out though.

    Speaking of detailed info on things given by Seto, how's your site project coming? I recall you quoted a near term start date to me at SDC, but unless I missed something I guess delays occurred. Gotta take the needed time of course, mostly just curious.

    Oh God my wallet screamed... I'm gonna keep watching. Honestly I'm more interested in a VF-22 in Max colors, but I don't know if they'll do that or not. Battroid is a massive improvement. I know I'm not as nitpicky as some collectors here but I can't see what is so troubling about the fighter so far. To me it looks amazing. Likely future prototypes will get better too. I don't know if I can afford this... Maybe I should consider some sales...

    Short answer, yes and a lot of it involves what happens in the VF-X games. Mostly the 2nd one, but it seems the issues had been building for a while. Basically they needed to decentralize to avoid one group having all the power (though Earth still ends up with more in the end). For the long version of the answer, see Seto below. (this is what they call genre savvy lol)

    I mean, YF-21 and VF-22 don't have engines in the legs, so that one has happened already.

    Yeah I was paraphrasing, though I certainly remember at saying that lol. I'm also a bit bad at reconstructing sentences from what I only heard and didn't read, but 'baka' isn't hard to forget heh.
