  1. Man, seeing your 1/55 Strike on display really ticks me off that Yamato's DYRL Super/Strike armor isn't that color because it looks so sweet on that Strike. That's why I prefer the Stealth armor parts. I think the black/gray just suits the 1/48's better.
  2. Sorry to get off topic, but in the link above there was this figure that is in the link below: http://www.happinetonline.com/NASApp/mnas/...D=4560228201819 Does anyone know if this is a figure from that No Jango pc game?
  3. Does the wifey know you want one of these?! Just don't let her see you take it to the bathroom with ya, Drew!
  4. Meh...this one isn't special enough for me to jump through hoops to get. The Low Vis 1 had a more appealing paint scheme than this. I'd be all over this if this was a totally different paint job -- even a Low Vis 1 paint app. If it gets released through the normal channels and doesn't cost what the 25th Anniversary VF-1S is going for, I'd pick it up.
  5. This would be so perfect if they included the additional side covers and the piece that goes behind the neck, also weathered of course. Wonder if the hands are going to be weathered also. I can't tell from the pics.
  6. Yeah, I don't get why they keep sticking to this color?! It's way off.
  7. YEEESSSSSS!!!!! These look so much like those resin Wave Battroid kits!!!! SWEET!!!!!
  8. We finally get some enemy mecha and we got people complaining?! Oh well... I can't wait for this. I also hope the Regult comes with the different attachments. These are perfect for army building.

    SV-51 CF!!!

Looks like you can see the stand and its parts in the pics in this thread: http://macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?show...&start=2580
  10. Well, that was a lame thing to do. The GBP armor by itself is still easy to come by. It's the Super armor parts that aren't. This makes no sense. Just cuz they did this for the 1/60 version, doesn't mean they have to do it for the 1/48. They should have done a run of the Super TV armor by itself.
  11. I think the highly-stylized -19 and -21 are Wave kits. Not sure who made the other -19, but I think it was a kit, too. I hope Kaiyodo puts out Revoltech Macross Plus figures that are more dynamic looking like these. Or, better yet, if these are Wave kits, it would be cool to see Wave put out figures based on these. Wave does nice PVC character figures, so even if they weren't poseable, they would still look nice.
  12. The YF-19 looks pretty chunky. I was hoping these would be more detailed. Here's what I was hopng for, but oh well...
  13. Sorry to get off topic, but anyone have any info on that Yukikaze Super Sylph? Wondering if it's a completed model and who is putting it out. So the Fraulein Sweet Dreams Pocco is part of the Revoltech line?
  14. Well, it looks like they got the color right on these Strike parts. I could never understand how Yamato was able to get it right on the original 1/60 VF-1S Strike, but later, it was totally off on the 1/48 Super/Strike parts.
  15. Anyone else not like the way the hook on the backpack sits up there in Gerwalk? Just doesn't look right. Hope it doesn't stay like that.
  16. Yeah, that's buggin' me, too. I liked the hinge on the 1/48 much better.
  17. Dang, MisterRyno, I was looking to part with my 1/55 reissues, but looking at your pics makes it hard to do so. Oh, the agony!
  18. Yamato just priced the GBP armor too high. It should have always been around what the Super/Strike parts cost. I have picked up a few more sets at these lower prices. I'm sure others might be doing the same. I'm sure Yamato will release the Reactive Armor, but hopefully they'll price it accordingly.
  19. Waiting to buy any new Yamato release has paid off for me. Frankly, I just don't think these toys are worth the initial asking price, as cool as they are. In most cases when I've pre-ordered, I find myself regretting it later because good deals are to be had if I wait. I've been collecting Yamato Macross toys since they first came out, and time has proven that several months after any one has been out, you can usually find them at a more reasonable cost now that they've been out for awhile and the market has dictated how much they will be. Case in point, when the 1/48 Max and Miria reissues came out, I noticed buyers on eBay paying between $400-$500 for the set. I waited for a few months and picked up a pair for $340 shipped. I picked up a virtually new VF-0A Shin with Ghost more than 6 months after it was released for $150 from a member here. He was local, so there was no shipping cost. I think Do Not Disturb's situation was an isolated incident and not typical of most sellers, so I'm not worried that I'm going to get damaged goods by waiting, nor am I worried that if I don't buy a new release when it comes out that they are going to sell out. In most cases, you can still find recent Yamato releases for several months later on eBay. Even the 1st Low Vis was available for awhile until collectors realized how limited it was. And, with the stuff Yamato is putting out in 1/60 scale, chances are good that they will be reissued again, so picking up extras at a reasonable price would be possible in the future since I'm not so pressed to buy more if I have one already unless the price is a good deal. It's tough to look at pics here of a new release and not want to buy it upon release, but my wallet aches as it is with each new release, so waiting for the right time to buy is really important.
  20. Here are the pics that I have. I thought I had one of the Valk wearing the uniform, but I didn't see one. Sorry for the quality of the pics, but they're not mine. Like I said, I had saved them from an eBay auction from years ago. I think this might have been from before the 1/60's came out.
  21. Can't believe the 1/60 Max and Miria are still fetching this much. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...W:IT&ih=014 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...W:IT&ih=014
  22. I've got pics that someone did of the Zetraedi uniform on a custom 1/55 VF-1A TV Max. I think they were from an eBay auction from years ago. I'll post pics as soon as I can find them on my home pc (I'm at work right now).
  23. The Max and Kakizaki TV VF-1A's are bland looking, but I still think they look cool. If they were willing to crank out a 1/48 Kakizaki, they should consider these as well. They would be easy paint schemes for Yamato to do, but I'd be more impressed if they FINALLY did the right thing and made an accurate TV-style VF-1A head. The head could also be used for a TV VF-1A Cannon Fodder version, so there's 3 Valks that would make it worthwhile for Yamato to do, but I still don't think they will. Did any of the various VF-1A model kits from Imai, Arii, Bandai, etc. ever have a TV-style VF-1A head? Oh yeah, forgot to mention that Yamato could also milk the TV-style VF-1A head on an accurate VF-1A Angelbirds, too. For any new guys here who aren't aware of the differences in the heads, I've attached a pic below. The TV VF-1A head is the one on the lower right.
  24. Man, this does not bode well for Mospeada fans. If this toy tanks, I doubt other toy companies would be willing to take the risk of making a Legioss/Tread combo in the future. Hopefully, CM's will realize this current version is not very good, and totally redesign it like Yamato did with the VF-0S.
  25. Damn, that's still kinda pricey for that scale. I remember paying less than a $100 for the 1/60's that came with super/strike armor and the VE/VT-1. And I'm sure these new versions aren't going to have the diecast legs.
