Final Fantasy XI is not like Everquest. As for SWG.... after making me spend $150 for a new power supply just so I could run the game without my video card threatening to blow up on me.... I finally figured out it just wasn't worth it. Why? Because honestly... there wasn't much to do in that game. Unless you are a Bounty Hunter or has wealthy friends, you are not going anywhere anytime soon. I can't really understand why the heck the GMs would include entertainer missions, but not commando or brawler missions. Seriously... do I rather go to a spot and dance for a bunch of NPCs or do I rather have missions that will send me somewhere and use my Commando skills other then shooting something to death with a lighting cannon, flame thrower or acid gun. Honestly... SWG is only fun if you are a Bounty Hunter or one of the other high profitable classes. And don't even get me started on that Jedi bounty crap. Seriously, wouldn't it be easier to just make becoming a Jedi harder then it is now? Seriously.... its like forcing players to play by themselves and not socialize. <_< I'm glad I cancelled my account... maybe.... when SOE finally got rid of most of the bugs and got the damn space expansion out, I will consider coming back.

Or it could be set during the NJO.... just to make your life even better.

I don't know why you guys are so worried about AUEG Vs Titans not making it over to the US, specially considering it would be perfect to be released along side the Zeta Gundam box set next year. The GC is the easiest system to mod. You can buy modded GCs are ncsx.com. They pretty much put a switch on the GC and each "mode" is a different region. Just a warning.... when you play japanese games, the games will automatically format your memory card... so be sure to have a spare memory card for games. The GC game is stupposed to be a simplyfied action game. The only real strategy aspect of the game is that each pilot will have a set abilities. quoted from igns short preview article. CDV, the company that produced the Galactica series cancelled Galaxy Andromeda (Imperium Galactica III) because it lost a truckload of money (close to 1 million euros), and because they did not think they game would sell well enough to warrant a release. Ok... I haven't really been following this thread all that much (or MW at that) so bare with me, if this has been addressed already. The lack of VF0, 19, 21 and SV51 intrigues me. Its lame to remove extras a few weeks before the game is released.... even for Bandai. Even if they were planning on releasing games that would make use of those models... removing them from the game a few weeks before release would be extra work and wouldn't make sense at all. Now, I noticed something peculiar. The latest Gundam game "MS Gundam: Meguriau Sora" featured downloadable Mobile Suits. The God, Master, Wing Zero, Strike and Aegis Gundams plus the Tallgeese III were the units that could be downloadable. Considering they don't fit the setting of the game.... it makes a lot of sense. Has anyone cared to look for downloadable content on the new Macross game? Considering the new units don't fit the setting at all, and that a sequel would only be planned if the game sold well, wouldn't it make sense to put those new valkyries as downloadable content? So.... the Japan MWers.... anything?

An OT but Seed related question... hows the game? Its been out for a while... and I have yet to hear anything about it. Any Seed fan played it yet?

I find Ringu to be a far scarier movie then The Ring. Its all about tastes... and I'm not about to discuss tastes. And I kept praying that at some time they would shut Samira up and make her a scary character like Sadako.... but that didn't happen. The Ring loses points in scariness simply because they made Sadako just another character. <_< And BTW..... Naomis character (don't know her name) was just as annoying as Reiko. And the Tape in Ringu was scary enough. And why the heck wouldn't she be crying? She was going to die in 7 days.... her son was going to die in 7 days! What did you expect? That she would spend her last days in a bar getting drunk? Ringu 2 sucks.... but if you rooted for Sadako and wanted Reiko to die.... you might want to watch it. Yep... thats one messed up series.... or was it movie?

Is that ever explained in The Ring? In Ringu.... the time is simply the projection of Sadakos anger. But then again.... the whole title of the movie was changed. While The Ring refered to the Ring that shows up at the top of the well.... Ringu refers to how the curse goes around.

Then you are not really disagreeing with me. I pointed out that Capcom tried to do too much... when they should've picked one type, and gone all the way with it. If they had concentrated on 3D gameplay... it would\ve been good. The same with 2D. Instead... they tried to do a little of both.... screwing up 1 side, and getting the other right. Its like this... with the right amount of effort.... Capcom would've gotten even boss battle in 3D right.... but didn't put the right amount of effort.... and even Battle Transmission shows it. Capcom needs to take Megaman seriously again.

I thought that was one of the more clever devices in the remake. I thought it filled in an almost empty spot in the Japanese version... Mean... the part about Sadako being able to kill ppl, and cause them to go crazy and commit suicide? <_<

Look at it this way.... at least LoI didn't turn out to be just Castlevania 64 in high resolution. <_< As for X7.... I think the main problem is that Capcom didn't go all out 3D. Its tough to turn a franchise 3D.... and its even tougher to make it a hybrid. My only gripe with the Megaman series.... the villians have been lacking originality in the past few installments. <_<

Ringu was better then The Ring to a certain extent..... Sadako was better then Samira (or whatever she was called). I think the silent type really matched the movie better. The soundtrack really made a difference (in which Ringu was better then The Ring), and the parts that were supposed to be scary were done better in Ringu. The Ring is an awsome adpatation in its own right.... one of the best I've ever seen.... though..... Samira making horses commit suicide was a very dumb plot device. As for ppl bashing the Ringu sequels..... Ring 0 was as good as the first one.... everything else sucked. <_< Its about a girl who has an eye transplant of some kind.... and ends up seeing memories of the previous owner of her eye. Thats as far as I got.

The way I see it..... Studio Nue owns the story. Meaning.... the copyrights are split into 3 parties not 2.

Ok... I might not be awake enough to be right.... but if TP themselves already confirmed that Studio Nue were the creators of the original story (look no further then the DVD case).... that means that without doubt BW owns the derivatives, right? And does that mean it effectively killed any further discussion of who owns the story?

Actually... you get charge $1 only. And I don't know if its a one time charge or a continious charge. But like I said before, considering 1 character can master everysingle class available, and that race stats are almost not different..... I don't really see the problem with having 1 slot. If you want to complain about something... complain about random server placement. but then again... theres a good reason for it, and its quite a good idea, as far as dealing with lag goes.

Thats Daitarn 3.... along with Gunbuster... the tallest Super Robot in history.

Be sure to let us know what the leveling situation is like. If its a slow level grind like Everquest I just might pass it. Rather play and have fun then pay to actually work. Of course. Thats whats going to help me decide if I'm going to get through the trial month.

Each extra character costs $1 actually. But honestly, considering you can experience every single class in the game with 1 character, I don't see the need for a second character. Considering I will be the only one here with the game a few days after its released..... I will do a review for who ever is interested.
