"Newtype USA readers are the ultimate anime fans, so it's only fitting that they get to select the best anime of all time," says editor in chief Gary Steinman. 4. Digipaks apparently, according to Digital Eyes.
  5. Man that is one AWESOME boxset. Still, it's gonna take up a crapload of shelf space. But this is Zeta Gundam dammit! It's worth it!
  6. Man anybody who loves Naruto will get a major kick from this, basically key moments from Naruto spliced with the auido from the second Matrix Reloaded theatrical trailer. Very cheesy and very cool! D/L it here: Naruto matrix parody Max get yer fix!
  7. Yeah i saw that! It was a DYRL? Minmay poster right?
  8. Just saw Dead Leaves, man Cat Soup would have to go some to beat that sucker in the insanity stakes.
  9. ROFLMAO! Here is the boxart for the first DS launch game : Super Mario 64 DS!
  10. Apparently, they have completely redesigned the control system for Metroid on DS, which allows more intuitive use of the D-pad this time around. Don't forget that the machine comes bundled with a demo of the game too.
  11. Hmmm yeah, thats the vibe i've heard from a lot of people. Safe bets though I would imagine are: Super Mario 64X4 Wario Ware DS Animal Crossing DS Mario Kart DS Whaddya think? Any more speculation on potential launch games?
  12. With the ever looming release date of Nov.22 for Nintendo's newest foray into *their* handheld market (at least until the PSP materialises) who many of you MWer's are going to plonk down your hard earned cash for this double screen, stylus using beauty? Personally I intend to wait it out a little longer to gauge what kind of software is available on release. Anybody's two cents welcome!
  13. Yeah they are planning a DVD release for the first two seasons of Clone Wars for Easter, with the last season being broadcast just before Episode III hits are cinema screens. For anybody who lives in the U.K or EU that still wants it, PM me and i'll see what I can do
  14. This old news probably, but it seems as though the big 'B' wants to get all of it's UC movie shows in a single place. The forthcoming UC Gundam Movie Pack has: - Gundam 0070 Movies 1,2 & 3 - Millers Report (Gundam 08th Movie) - Char's Counterattack I don't have any of these right now, but had the Counterattack movie on order. I wonder if it'll still come with the swanky booklet that the standalone release had? Ah well, it'll still be worth picking up i'd wager.
  15. I want to avoid the HK release if possible, as I have not seen Gunbuster, I therefore value subs quality above anything else. Thanks though for the link!
  16. Thanks for the advice A7, but where do I turn to in order to see a version of Gunbuster with subs?
  17. Hmmm, just found the Kiseki Gunbuster DVD for $5... So tempting!
  18. Just watched it... this is Gainax?! (sigh) On a seperate note of sorts, is the Kiseki Gunbuster DVD worth buying? Bearing in mind I have yet to see Gunbuster.
  19. Hey i've got that UK version! It's basically an uncut version of the original U.S release (e.g. full chun-li shower scene and extra dubbed profanity). No Japanese audio track though It also has the 'special' European soundtrack too
  20. Day of Reckoning reminds me in many ways of the old N64 AKI grapplers, with their tried and tested pressure based strong/weak grapples and strike/hold countering system. To be honest i'm really looking forward to it as for once my beloved GC, isn't getting diet Smackdown for the third year in a row. Also for us Europeans, the boxart is somewhat different: Can't also wait for Smackdown Vs Raw, online ass-whuppin's here we come!
  21. Well i'll admit that this is my first time ordering from them, but everybody else who I know who have ordered from them (including some MW'ers) seemed to have no problem with them. Also, many of the guys on the AOD forums seem to think they're reliable too. Go on rikiryou, give in to it! Oh yeah and don't forget, if you're ordering Zeta from them to use the Zeta discount coupon which you can get from AnimeOnDVD.com. It all helps!
  22. Ummmm.... caps lock? Seriously though at this point I wouldn't care who brings M0 stateside. As long as it's not Manga. Or Funimation. Or Viz, um yeah them too.
