  1. I personally think purely white color is quite nice oredi. Then when I realize that I can directly start painting it to a minmay guard, and use the 1/72 decals, no need to hesitate.

    Latest custom.

This baby will finally land down on which guy's shelf? Another lucky buddy. Thx for sharing.
  3. It would be great if they release more snow white princess like vf-11*, vf-2*. But for vf-1, I personally think 1s is enough. It will be a good idea to include other heads in the 2nd release: not only save their cost, but can hugely increase the selling amount. Vi-RS's reply inspires me a lot. Preordered also in such a condition: attractive price + decal is roughly OK. Anasazi seems quit for a long time. I remember a couple of weeks ago his thread was digged out. However, from his reply it seems that the talented bro does not have enough interest in a short run for decal making. Currently using 1/72 minmay decal might be the only choice.
  4. Thx for the hint. Go back to check.
  5. Now where can we find the 1/60 minmay guard decals?
  6. Woo, dont know that history actually since I started my collected only around 2 years before. Anyway, my info should be correct to the guys who are hunting for low vis 1 NOW.
  7. Yamato, reduce the price to 1200 la~~~ Just exchange the first 2 digits. Here will become quite cz we will go for the 1/2000 toys and no time to discuss here.
  8. Woo, so many people are ..... not in line with me Now I am pretty sure that Yamato will not redo it (Even if they want, they will stop right after seeing the discussion here).
  9. To Uxi: I guess the one you mentioned should be low vis ver2. It can't be that cheap for the grey ver 1, even in its initial release. To sigma20**: Actually there is one post specially discussing this topic. It seems that around 250 is currently the proper price (it really dropps off in this 1-2 years). In ebay, I saw one guy in japan selling it with 225 but should be finished already. 300usd, to be frank, is a bit high but not that much, especially if the seller picks up his 1A in the peak time. I can also provide you an estimation of the bottom line. 150-180 usd, impossible to be lower than that. Personally if I see such a price, I will bid without any hesitation. And I am pretty sure that 99% of guys here will do the same thing. At one time, I saw one guy selling such a baby with 150-160 (even loose and stick applied) just 5 mins later after he post. When I pm, it is SOLD oredi. If you are not in that hurry, I personally suggest you to wait a bit longer. Who knows Yamato will release a 1/60 low vis grey? If yes, the price for 1/48 counterpart will drop a bit more and some collectors may sell their 1/48 keeping and switch to the new line (although I personally will not, 1/48 to me is the perfect size). Hope it helps you out.
  10. It is my another dream. But if they make them true using 1/60 ver2 skill, it would be perfect.
  11. Do you guys think Yamato will release new 1/48 line with 1/60 ver2 material and technique? Personally I really wsh they can do that. If so, do you wanna buy one, some, or even the whole new series?
  12. Nice job, man. And nice avatar!
  13. What is the price? If < 15-20, can consider to get one.
  14. Thinner definitely. Water is not pure enough and might destroy your whole work. Youtube is also a good place to learn, just key in tamiya or some other key words then you will find many useful posts. Hope it helps a bit.
  15. It is so sweet, hope I have such technique. Ahh... I need a 1/5000 SDF first.
  16. Hope can get a couple after its release, still hunting for a real lucky price
  17. Man, cant believe all of the work done by yourself! SO SO SO SO SO SO SO beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dont know whether you wanna paint it. But personally, better not. This snow white princess is beatiful enough. See, yamato is coming out unpainted version.
  18. It itself is beautiful enough actually. Snow white princess! Definitely will get one? Why not giving a chance to 1/48 also, Yamato??? PLEASE!!!!!!!!!
  19. Agreed, let's just calm down la~~~, they don't force us to buy. Personally, seeing some HD pix for the 1/2000 toy is already good enough. Sign... Yamato, why not putting just 1/10 or 1/15 R&D cost to make the 1/48 1D/VE-1/VT-1 become true, no matter limited or not? It will be definitely much easier and to make a good profit in a very very very short run, isn't it? (Draw $350 in 5 run == Draw $ 2000 in one time, so simple)
  20. I prefer the green-black color combination actually, why not coming out a modified version, say with a yf-19 head? Will be much better. I am also wondering why not directly releasing a vf-4g, see, the kai is actually molded from head to feet, it will not be more difficult to mold a vf-4, sign ~~~
  21. Hope can have time to clear up and show off. To scream man, the custom 0S is cool.
  22. The comment is: definitely a masterpiece!!! One question from me is that whether the preshading is thickened after the first shown picture? Cz it seems that the initial preshading is with very narrow line (compared with many other works I v ever seen), but in the final weathering give me the impression that the shading line is thickened, especially on the body part. And it will be best to open a new thread to show your overall procedure, will let us learn much more. Thx for the pix.
  23. Mate, your avatar is so so nice
