Im tempted. the more I play with it the better i get at the transform, and the tighter I can get her in tighter. i still think she is a little over engineered, but time has made me like it more.

So I got mine in nd... man she's pretty! i havent had a chance to transform it yet, but just every colour on this thing is gorgeous. It's a great looking toy! So the pilots name is Ron Balter or somesuch yes? He's the main anti-hero guy? The Guld to Leon's Isamu?

So let me ask you this kids: The Percival is just a name right? I mean this I a 29B, so the Avionics are different, but it's more or less just a typical Durandel? Something in another thread made me wonder, so I wasn't sure. Percival was one of Authurs Knights, and I thought the name was being used as an opposing one for Siegfried, Leon's callsign from Macross 30. Percival was the game's antagonists plane right?

Actually minor characters returning IS something I'd like to see. Some of max's daughters, or a relative or some connection to a previous show. Doesn;t have to be one of the leads, just a tie back. -
I'd get Shin's 0A if i could afford it, i really would. I love the Zeros, and this is the hero characters plane! But at close to $400, I just can't do it. I'll get the 0S no matter what, and be happy. I think it looks wicked as hell! But if this is the end for Arcadia i won't be amazingly sad, because the price is getting silly. I just got the Bandai VF-18Adv a few weeks back. It cost $370 or soemthing. And i just paid for the 29 Percival which was $200 ish. That means i could almost buy 2 fighters for the cost of 1 Arcadia. And those are planes i have already anyway! Sadly I'm there. I'm riced out, and it bums me out but.... that's the ball game.

Awesome! i love the yellow you used, and making it along the front edge of the Canards is a nice touch. Which logo is that on the shield and neck piece?

1/60 VF-1's i would get, at least in DYRL? colors (Which I skipped from yamato). Other than that I dunno. I have a lot of the older fighters from Yam/Arc, so I don't know if i need to jump in with them all again.

In terms of fighter mode with the FP's, I found just taking the little bits off the backs of the legs helped. leaving them in is more trouble than its worth i think. In terms of the differences in the 2 places, a lot of that I put down to the fact this is a different fighter built almost 20 years later. I assume Yang tweaked her a little when he built her for Isamu, which resulted in some minor changes to the airframe. hence the features being different on the 2, and on the two toys. As to the toy, my only 2 issues that actually bug me are the right booster not staying on well, and the top of the hips.intakes/whatever they're called being gappy in gihhter, like they wont sit square. otherwise shes a lot of fun

It extends up. Its cool u get a phenomenal range of motion from the neck joint, it looks awesome. Also i gotta say the wings hold the weight of the boosters incredibly well. The whole fighter is tight as a drum.

Spanner hooked me up, so I got mine. Shes a beaut alright, but a little to complicated for my tastes. It feels like there are a few places where it takes 3 steps to do one thing. But the big issue for me is the Boosters. The right one does NOT stay on. At all. It just flips off. other one goes on fine, but the second... if i balance it in place and pray real hard i can fake it, but it ain't locking. Also are u supposed to kleep the small attachment in the upper legs on in Fighter when the FP's are on? Coz i couldn't do that either. Oh, and the hips were so tight i actually had to LOOSEN the screws. That was a first for me. Still, all in all, I think i like her. Gonna need to play with ehr a little first to make a final call though.
