  1. i wonder how hard it would be to mode the Flagg to be the right size for valks. i mean the bridge n everything. Does the tower section come off? If so, u could probably custom do a smaller bridge and fit it into a similar spot. Now THERES a challenge for all u customisers!!!!
  2. tweezers m'man! just make sure u use ones with no gripper. U want ones with a smooth edge. Line it up, I use a crack or detail line in the plane. Then gently put it don, then use those chubby digits to smooth it over
  3. I...cant see a picture...
  4. I got all the ones listed in the booklet on without a hasslke. inside the cockpit was probably the hardest. The rest Im gonna save and use em on a 1/48 or something.
  5. Ive never really wanted one. If they released a smallish cheap one i might consider it, but Im not all taht into the Macross itself. It was the VF-1's I always loved.
  6. Wanker nothing! Thats awesome! when i was younger i was a HUGE HUGE Gi Joe fan. I always wanted the Flagg. BGut it was never released here, and in those days u didnt import toys (or at least i didnt). Ive since sold my collection, gut seeing those strikers and the Flagg brought back a lot of happy memories for me Thanx Man
  7. The sticker make it look WORLDS better. i sitckered up my Lancer and was happy i did so. i think the stickers it comes with are pretty good actually.
  8. Yeah i was hoping to get some as well, but when first released they were $100 here, so now they'd be $150 aussie shipped. Thats just slightly insane Hell, i could buy an Alpha for that....
  9. ive been debating removing those hooks, snapping thne ends and gluing the fins through the hole. I cant seem to see any reason at all its a seperate piece. On another note, after getting the lancer a few weeks ago, and trying an MPC Valk (Not great, but kinda fun) i bought up a Millia 1/48 from Valk exchange today. Thanx Kevin!
  10. Yeah stickering it up makes them look great. And i disgaree with other sabout the quality of the stickers: I think they'r egreat They're very thin, which makes them stand out as stickers left on the plane. Im trying to decide if i want to add the "No Step" stickers to the wings...
  11. I THINk its all locked in. Ill have to re transdform to check. Thanx man
  12. i thought the up turned nose was a fault in min1 Im kinda glad to know its kinda supposed to be that way. though jenius had one that had a decent nose... I tried pushing down like u said, but it doesnt do anything. Its so firmly in place i figure its supposed to be like that. Im sure i have itr transformed right....at least I think im sure. Incidentally, am i the only one whos rear wheels arenr in a straight line? They curve inwards...
  13. so they definitely all have the nosecone pointed up? i dont understand why they'd design them that way! their VF-1s are right but...damn..... i mean the front wheel doesnt touch the ground! Id be seriously happy if they just fixed that ONE thing! i dunno if u can really see it in those.... see how it looks like the middle is slumping? the 2 ends are highter off the ground!
  14. i like my Lancer Alpha. Damn, I wish Id seen this thread before I started one of my own. Sorry all im glad some people have though: my question in the other thread now seems to havemore merit. I was worried u guys would still be all "Harmony gold is evil1 Avoid their products!" much like the boards were a couple of years ago.
  15. yeah i dunno if this is a place for this or not, but Im hoping u guys will go easy on me. i swear i like macross better than robotech! Please oh please dont hurt me! i just got one of the Toynami alphas, and while i like it, it seems off slightly My question was to anyone with an Alpha fighter, preferably Lancers. Mine seems to have the nose section on wrong, making it sit to high. I think. it looks like the nose is pulled up, and is in line witht he top of the fighter instead of having a gentle curve up to the cockpit. I was hoping someone with an alpha could post a side on pic, so I can see if mine is off orif its supposed to be that way. much appreciated all.
  16. Incidentally Neova, empty your PMs folder already!
  17. I should again say that I didnt have a serious issue with my valk from neova. The loose front took like, 10 seconds to fix. The skulls are straight, the plates all stay on....theres this mega minor stain on one wing, and thats IT> And I doubt I could take a pic and show u, its THAT faint. Im happy with the valk I got, and will use Neova again. Here endeth the sucking up
  18. From Neova. i managed to fix the loose fuselage section by tightenign the screw just inside the nose joint.
  19. Mine arrived today. It seems to be ok overall, nothing serioys. One of the wings has a greyish stain on it, I didnt notice it at first, but on close examination spotted it. Its not something Im to upset about anyway. the only thing that bugs me a bit is that the head and chest/nose/cockpit sections are very loose, moreso than my other 48s. Ill have tohave a good look at it, I might have to glue it togetehr abit tighter. but overall Im happy
  20. Ah the Skystriker was a great Joe toy. I loved it! later repainted as the nightboomer, which I had 2 of. Gorgeous toys!
  21. I hadnt seen it before...
  22. Im surprised we havent seena CF yet actually. then again there are...waht 4 different 1As on the market?
  23. I meant that the arm armour would get in the way of the gun being held in the hands
  24. i didnt think it could hold a gunpod with that forearm armour. Looks to be to large
  25. u should? Where? Does it store in the armour somewhere?
