Well, it's like Graham said about Macross 7 when people said it wasn't a very popular show, a not so popular show can't produce 49 episodes, a crap load of sound tracks, a 4 episode OVA series, 2 specials, and 1 movie if it weren't popular. Seed has produced 50 episodes, 2 TV specials 1 OVA, 2 side stories OVA's, 2 manga series, over half a dozen soundtracks, a long line of model and plastic figure toys, and a tv sequal airing less than 60 days from now.....you can't call something like that a "Hit or miss". Friend of mine was showing me a picture, and it was a semi truck with the trailer being something TV screen like I think, and it had Gundam SEED advertised on it......now that's cool.

yeah blah I start typing up what I wanna say than I get a phone call from another dealer wanting me to check a number and than I start typing and when I hit enter to check the number "Not in database" I look and I forgot to turn my caps baack on than I gotta remember the number again which makes those guys po'ed lol. Than when I finish I get back here and I can't remember what I was going to say cause I might have only typed up like part of what I wanted.......god I hate that. ANYWAYS the Red frame special, it was sorta funny, but I expected Lowe to be more Vash-esque than anything else. But he was pulled off nicely as an anime counterpart. However, Kisato had a design change, her hair is much longer, more mature looking, not only that but she isn't as worrie-some as her manga counterpart! I liked that about her cause everyone else was calm and collective.....(okay maybe not lowe) except for her! I loved that and they took it away. T.M. Revolution however, they seem to be a big hit for SEED which has shocked me, I haven't really even heard anything from them since Kenshin, but to have the first opening on SEED, their main singer as part of the second opening, first opening for the new series, and than for ASTRAY MSV, that's nice. However, like I said about animation, I personally enjoy the manga better, if they were smart they would have just picked something from one of those stories, like Red Frame versus Gold Frame in space....something like that. As for the Blue Frame special, it seemed to focus more on Sword Calamity which was a scary mobile suit. And the Gai didn't have many lines as he was the main character in the ASTRAY storyline....and Blue Frame just didn't get alot of air time.....it was sad....but his voice was spot on what I thought it could be...which was nice. That's my take on ASTRAY MSV for now......they better make more or a seperate OVA series that's like based on the manga and not something off the top of their heads.

Sorry was preoccupied with work when typing that lol what I meant to say was Decals not details oopsie! But no they don't look like typical mobile suits with the skimpy armor plating, they look more "organic looking" And yes I know about the detail I do own the Red frame but it didn't eat my gundam pen like others say, I work my panel lines at a certain way to make them thin and easy to apply without going over the line and onto the armor pieces.

Theres a site that has a 15 second commercial spot which featured a tad bit of TM Revolutions Opening theme, and you see a small picture of Impulse with the schnieders. I also noticed something from a site, its pictures of Athrun, Cagalli, Kira and Lacus in wedding outfits? what......the.....hell....?

Not surprised the blue frame didn't get much of anything, it just doesn't look like a mobile suit, red or blue frame, to get much of any detail, can't even see that for the M-1's. But my 2 OVA's should be finished when I get home.....hmmmm judging on what I think of the OVA's........maybe I'll dub them like I did with Valley of the Stars tv special.

Totally unrelated, but it reminds me of when they were doing Highlander2 and they were going over production costs so the sponsors and insurance companies came in, canned the project, edited it to how they saw fit and people cried how horrible the movie was....than wha nearly 10 years later they got their hands on it and reworked it just a tad to make it a bit better. Funny if that would happen to AVP?

That sorta has me worried if theyhave been advertising the movie for some time, and its not even set...

Is it just me or does it look like, ALL of the Gundams here except Impulse have the ability to transform to an option mode?

Maybe if they produced Master Grades, but there really weren't any decals at all for Lowe's Red Frame....like "Lowe Gear" stickers on the shield and shoulder, the usual Eye decal for the Gundam head, and a few red strips to go on the sheath for the sword and that was pretty much it.....not sure how the Blue Frame comes out though.....hopefully a bit better. I'm downloading the OVA's right now, everything from the SEED TV specials to the ASTRAY OVA's....should be all done when Iget home.

Already, thought I could play the game again too but I can't but hey I did get the SFX file!

Sadly I can't scratch build, never done it, don't have the stuff to do it nor the time. I thought I saw HLJ have it up for sale...but I could be wrong like I thought I would get Freedom off Jhobby.net but they're on preorder...... But I don't think the kit was too pricey. And from what I just heard the recast was pretty bad.

Uh huh so I see......well now if I can find B-Clubs Resin conversion kit for Nu Gundam I may just buy it, but stupid HLJ wont do the search, it just keeps acting up on me....grrrr either can't find what I want or the site is down, it's getting annoying!

If I could get on HLJ's site (which seems down?) I'd go than and get one, maybe two for good measure to sell But I was wondering how in the hell can you do a 1/48 without alot of the mechanical stuff, I've never seen a 1/48 NU gundam.....

I've heard of their release, and t hat they're like 5 or 6 minutes long, but a location of where they can be found for someone like me is unknown.

How do I tell if ones a recast and the other is geniun? I been thinking about it and I think I'll wanna give these conversion kits a try since I find the Hi-Nu to be an interesting design, very sleek and sharp to the eye and I think I'll make a low viz.

I know you can still find Resin upgrade parts for Nu Gundam to change it into a Hi-Nu, I've been thinking some time I'd like to get a new Nu Gundam and than purchase the Resin part upgrades.

Also think that they've gone thru a dozen rewrites and somehow, the director either amazed them to think, "Okay he knows what he's talking about" or, "Damn lets just get this thing done and over with so we can market on the action figures." I'm gonna go watch AVP and Yugioh friday....cause it'll be a boring day and I'll have cash to blow, the end.
