I remember watching the FIRST redo when I was younger, I didn't mind it that much, it just really made things longer and trust me...drinking a few pepsi's at the theaters doesn't really make it that much better.... What REALLY pissed me off in the first set of redoes was the scene with Solo and Chewie running around and suddenly instead of 1 or 2 storm troopers there's 50 0_o.....they should have just FRIED like chickens by that many shooting at 'em....but no....alas it didn't happen....dammit..... HE WILL MAKE HIS FINAL CUT...........OR...........DIE!

Well a big problem with the model are those decals. Infact even those rub on transfers were a pain. You gotta angle them and sometimes they'lljust be too long to work with so its best to apply them before snapping everything together....sadly I made a booboo so now the "Colonies Liberation Organization" decals are sorta backwards on each side of the wings. I also had problem getting the "XXX01-GW" or wha ever decal on the shield cause it interfered with a part in the way. Another was painting, that was my fault....I used Testors white cause I ran out of the Tamiya which would have been better. White actually just doesn't do very well in general if you notice. But I was thinking, maybe if I use a gray primer the next time to coat after with White, maybe that'll be better? Give it more of a shadow effect like I've read about. While this is one of those rare models that'll hold everything you built nicely....it all just sorta gets lost in a big mess of stuff. ALSO! On one of those side armor pieces, with all those nuclear shells attatched to them......it turns really yellow and like redish on one side and I honestly don't have a clue why....all those pieces were kept very far apart from eachother and white was really the first one to get painted....oh well crap.

Just gotta Check around the boards, this place talks about nearly everything, infact I think Casshern is one of those live actions once anime that actually came out rather well. Alot of people will always pan anime or comics going live action and they'll always have their reserves, but this is one where you don't really hear "God damn this movie sucked! They just hacked it with not keeping it original!" But I was pleased with the movie, sorta glad Casshern wasn't really so super human after all, infact, he was sorta just a normal guy trying to repent if I think so myself. Infact in one scene you see Tetsuya when he's in the army shoot someone in the head......if you watch the movie you'll be very surprised on just who exactly it was he shot. Pretty much all these characters in the movie have some sort of a tie in with eachother or with Tetsuya not just because they're Neo Humans, but something more. Though I actually don't understand how these guys came back to life really since I thought the Neo Cells weren't complete....but I was trying to understand it raw and it was really hard to pick out certain things in the movie.

And just one more, a size comparison between Wing Gundam in Flight mode and Zeta Gundam in Wave Ride mode.

Here, I finished Wing Gundam.......and it sucked big time......WAY to many decals and the paint job I did was flat out 3rd rate if not less.

Ah those cheeky bastards I'm not paying 45 bucks! I still got it in my hard drive but it cuts out at the last few minutes of the movie. To answer the question more directly, in the 70's there was a TV series called Casshan (which I've seen cels of) which was based around a young man named Tetsuya who must save humanity from his fathers evil twisted Creation the Black King. Than in the mid 90's an 3 Episode OAV series was released summerizing the series also giving new character designs. SPOILERS Than in April 2004 Casshern was released in theaters in Japan by a director who actually did fashion shows. So you know this guy had some good ideas in lighting and effects. However this version of Casshern is based on a "What if" Axis had won WWII and not the Ally forces namely US and Russia etc. Thus with humanity nearly whipped out by new diseases and viruses caused by Chemical and Biological weapons in which case Mrs Azuma has gone blinde due to a virus. The movie takes place in 2004 while the Asianforces have won the final war. While at the end, Dr. Azuma a brilliant genetic scientist proposes the idea of Cell regeneration via Neo Cells (I think that's the term) which will regrow dead cells into new. However his idea is rejected by the board, but one man manages to undercover fund his research. While this occurs, Dr. Azuma's son, Tetsuya is still in the Army and is suddenly killed during a granade attack. During his Tetsuya's return for his funeral, Dr. Azuma's lab goes heywire and his lifeless body parts, yes body parts, countless numbers begin to regrow and connect to their previous bodies thus creating super humans, Neo Humans. A small group manage to escape while a large number of them are killed off by the military. In desperation Dr. Azuma takes his dead son and ressurects him. Dr. Azuma's assistant Dr. Komyogi wasn't it? takes Tetsuya back to his place where he is kept in stasis lock to recover completely (I actually think Tetsuya was missing alot of body parts too...) Suddenly the recovered Neo Humans find an ancient castle where a robot army was once produced which I believe was the last resort of the Euroasia faction. The Robot army goes on a rampage and they also attack Dr. Komyagi's house where he is killed, however Tetsuya awakens and kills one of the neo humans but is badly weakened. Luna, his fiance' drags his body thru the streets while the city is about to be attacked. Suddenly, Tetsuya awakens causing the robots to attack knocking Luna out cold. Tetsuya in his new body releases his strength and fights the Neo Human faction only to be defeated. It sorta gets lost for me after that, Luna seems to catch the same virus which was suppose to render her blinde like Tetsuya's mother...and the man who lost his girlfriend cause of Tetsuya in the previous battle in the mansion goes out for revenge. This is the one and only time we hear Tetsuya call himself Casshern as he has a dramatic sword battle only to get hacked and slashed all over the place. Anyways to make the long story short, the whole army what's left of the human race begins its final onslaught against the Neo Humans with Casshern on his own to fend off a giant robot with an atomic bomb and fails only to have the bomb explode. We also discover the Neo Humans were once humans who were test subjects and killed by Dr. Azuma who appears to be the real bad guy and even kills Luna. In the end, Tetsuya and Luna both die along with humanity I believe.

It's not showing up in Oregon theaters till sometime in mid october I think....maybe than I'll catch it......than again.......I can just wait till its released in the next year or so......wha ever Okay I just checked around...I found...3 variations....two are DVD rips and the other is not...2 are by an unknown group while the other belong too well somebody else. The DVD rips are a gig and a half while the other is 700 megs.....which could be the bad one?

All I'm trying to say is that if its just a mislabeling issue who really cares if they figure it out ahead of time? Sure its a problem for distrubtors, but to people like us who are aware of the situation who really cares? They're still encoded the way they should be, just the DVD labels are wrong. That's what I'm picking up on my limited time of reading something while at work.

So its mislabeled but nothing really drastic is wrong right? I don't see a huge problem with that if your just gonna watch the series and have no big worries of listening to it with the most fantastic sound you'll ever hear.....I just wanna watch it without the whooha....: / Hmmmmm now it makes me wonder if Bestbuys will carry it. Just checked their website (god bless T1 connection speed) Its still labeled as a 9/28 release date....I'll check it out next week if it came in t here or not.

You know speaking of XM....*shivers* that's like 3 piece electronic device here in the dealership and its 500 dollars and some odd change, than the labor fee's and that damn thing wont work well in heavily forested areas, mountainious regins and big downtown areas.......so is it REALLY worth the sacrafice of commercials?

Yeah yeah Ka sorry I keep wanting to say Kai.....I don't know why......... BUT I went ahead and got it during my lunch break...... took my whole lunch hour to just drive 8 miles down and back to get this damn thing. At first glance, the box isn't that attractive, that was the reason I was so hesitant on the purchase of this kit. That and I did say I wouldn't buy another Wing Kit....ever....but this is what? The first Master Grade Wing kit? Wouldn't hurt to atleast give it a try But honestly, I loved Hajime Katoki's designs for Gundam Wing. Though the series wasn't that attractive to me....the overall concept designs were fantastic, it was probably that itself which made me atleast watch the series. Out of all the Gundam designs he did for Wing, Wing and Deathscythe were probably the most intersting for me. And to actually own a piece of those designs it really does make me feel good all warm and fuzzy! The booklet is THICK for a Master Grade. I can't really compare though honestly with something like Double Zeta which is a beastie kit I bet. But overall, this booklet is very detailed and lets you know just where your working at with a sectioned down diagram of the mobile suit. The colors are fantastic, but I am going to paint it a bit I think.............I THINK. I may change my mind.

Hmmmm I may have to think about getting SWBF...low on funds....always low on funds I'll think about it! But all the games I got for the PS2 don't need high speed except Socom which I ditched cause it was boring, and Need for Speed Underground which pisses me off that you gotta start from scratch again to get my car that kicks everyones ass.

Well see that's why so many people perfer to get Xbox online, with the Xbox you pay a solid fee and you can play any game that registers for online use. Whereas the Playstation 2 you have no montly online fees except for each game you play. You pay 13 dollars a month and for every new character you create its 1 dollar besides the 1 free be you get which you can rehash all you want. And Everquest, god bless its crack adicting ways is 10 dollars a month but you can use a prepaid card or charge on a credit/debit card and no character fees. Sadly, you'll find more people with a PS2 online than an Xbox cause Xbox is high speed while PS2 supports high speed and dialup.

Supposively PS3 and Xbox 2 are around 2005-2006.......and like the previous models it'll be 2 years or so before I get one.

And if they did for Soundwave would it also play MP3's?

LOL!!! its like 1/3 the size of the regular ps2! Bet that's a good 150 bucks still
