    You're going to get 2x of the PF?? Now that's hardcore! I'm pretty sure you'll have plenty of time to decide. It's a webshop item and it's really expensive. Just make sure you get your orders in before the Arcadia deadline, which is, er, I forget, but sometime in February I believe.

    I put a lot of work into my old 0S back in the day and it's probably more "premium" than the PF version, but I'm still going to get the PF version. This one is going to reactive armor duty or maybe I'll sell it.

    If you want something that can transform without falling apart, get the DX. If you just want a great looking fighter that isn't a Sisyphean ordeal to build, get the Hasegawa.

    I might have to pick one of those up, though I'd rather have an XL version. The Enterprise-C release is missing the main impulse engine on the back of the "neck."

    Grats on paying less for the premium than the crazy prices for the original release. Even with the premium I'm still going to spend hours putting all those tiny red Hasegawa decals on it... again.

    I'm not sure what the point of this response was or why you guys keep repeating the same thing over and over. We're all well aware of what we're buying. Are you trying to convince people like me not to get one, or trying to convince yourselves you don't want one? The original release was already expensive, and those of us who have decided to buy the premium clearly have no qualms about spending a lot of money on our hobbies.

    Only 42800 at AE? That's not as bad as I expected. I'm in! Though maybe in February because between the Virgin Road and some other purchases and all the upcoming preorders this month, my hobby funds are running low.

    Correct. You'll have to use a proxy service to order from Arcadia, which of course will drive the price up with service fees. Or just order from NY or HLJ when they put theirs for sale.

    Expect to pay a mark up fee once it hits NY and HLJ. HLJ has been charging about 6000 yen on top of the cost of the item, so expect a price tag like 44800...

    Only 38800? That's still expensive, but less than I thought. I was thinking it would be over 40000 since the MSRP was 34800 for the regular edition.

    $400 for mine, as much as I paid for my VT-1. Went ahead and splurged since it's one of the last pieces I needed. From here on out it's only new releases for me! Very nice! But the TV SDF-1 has its legs on backwards!

    Thanks! Yeah I figured it's highly unlikely Arcadia will ever reissue this one, so I splurged. I'm not even sure Bandai will want to HMR this one. @davidwhangchoi Did you ever get your first Angel Bird?

    Picked up one of the final VF-1 variants I needed for my 1/60 collection. Now all that's left is to wait for the PF Max & Miria releases...

    Let not forget that Delta is one of the most awful shows I've seen in recent memory, and many of us still clamor for the valks from that show too.

    27864 yen price includes the 8% consumption tax. That money goes to the Japanese government, not Arcadia. Talk about cherry picking your data!

    Of course, if I really wanted to be as pedantic, I could point out that 9970 yen is only $88, not "$100." And if we're playing the best-case-cherry-picking game, I could also point out that I'm paying 25026 yen for mine, over the 21000 retail it goes for. So 5026 yen is only $44.77.

    You're also using a "best case" scenario to push your own perspective, since NY is the only place that offers a discount, and they charge some of the highest shipping rates anyway, so it ends up being mostly a wash. Some of us also don't like shopping there, for a myriad of reasons. An inability to purchase from Arcadia sounds like a geographical problem for you, not Arcadia. These items aren't meant for sale outside Japan.
