But... but... Arcadia is so expensive! 18000 valk + 5000 missiles + probably at least 9000 for super/strike parts = a lot of money! And three shipping costs on top of that! Soooo cheap! Assuming you were able to get one at release. Still some peeps who didn't get one and have to pay extra on the secondary market (22k on Mandarake if you're fast!). On a more serious note, mine's left OH and on it's way here. I really hope it gets here tomorrow (today)! I want it nooooow!

But then people would complain about having to parts swap. Never underestimate MWers' abilities to find something to bitch about. I'm not a big fan of the GBP (you're taking a highly mobile, transforming unit like the VF-1 and turning it into a destroid) but I'll probably get one anyway.

Finally had some time to open up the most recent Sheryl figure. It's been awhile since we got a really nice Sheryl figure (the previous game prize release was, well, definitely game prize quality). 10 years on and we're still getting good Frontier figures, but hardly anything from Delta? I guess we should be thankful we didn't get a terrible VF-31 line followed by a renewal line. Comes in a pretty big box. Bandai, why would you make a box with an opening cover and a window to see the contents, only to tape the cover shut? This Sheryl sculpt is way better than the last release and actually looks like Sheryl. Back side Looks good close up but you can see the imperfections on her. Fairly par for the course as Ichiban figures aren't on the same level as full retail figure releases.

Nothing crazy about it. It's more efficient for Fedex to fly to the hub in Anchorage then to the continental US due to its prime location on the globe.

I paid Amiami as soon as I got their email last night. No shipping notice. Looks like Amiami won't be shipping till next year. This is the first time they've failed me for the last time!

Just my got Amiami request. They changed it to DHL because it was cheaper than EMS. 7510 for DHL, 7860 for EMS.

Awesome purchase! Yamato's VF-19 is still the best of the 19 series, even including Bandai's YF-19. Looks good but I ended up passing on it because of its astronomical price tag. Also I don't like the look of the second Hulkbuster as much as the first one. -
Got billed by Amazon this morning. $173 shipped. Hopefully it ships out soon and it'll be here by Friday (when I'll actually have time to play with it).

It'd be pretty cool to have photo-etched parts for the DX, but even though they're the same scale the Hasegawa probably has a very different sculpt from the DX, so they won't fit right. Maybe some enterprising individual out there wants to give it a try anyway and prove me wrong.

Didn't even know the "priest collar" was even a thing till some peeps here started nitpicking about it. Never bothered me, and I much prefer it to the HMR solution which was to make the torso really long and freaky looking. I'll wait till I have the DX in hand before coming to any conclusions on it, but so far the head and neck look even smaller than Yamato's, for those nitpicking about such things.

On the right is a 1/60 Yamato. The one on the left I'm not familiar with. Maybe a 1/100 Toynami? DX doesn't have a neck at this angle. Also really small hands.
