Found a couple of mechanic editions. At 70k each no wonder they're still unsold. 

This may have been posted before. It looks great with the matte finish. Looks like there's a few markings and paint apps added. Minor stuff. 

Wings look like the same crap swapping mechanism, even if it doesn't come with extra wings. 

Yamato 21 cost around 200 bucks in 2008 with the exchange rate at the time. It was around that time the exchange rate swung wildly in favor of the yen for the next several years.

And yes, I fully realize how heavily that's tempting fate.  

The back and tops of the cases are particle board, so I imagine it shouldn't be too hard to drill into them to add mounting brackets.

Far as the VF-19P goes though, I think the plastic is actually a very specific shade of off-white.  It doesn't show up in photos under lights, but it always felt like it had a slight bluish-gray tint to it for me, which might help the plastic not to yellow. 

I don't know if it works the same way with plastic as it does with paint, but painting things a very slight shade of off-white tends to help the paint not to yellow.

Thanks all. Honestly didn't think it would take so long to set up these shelves. Can't wait to get my next set of moducases so I can add the 1/48 stuff. I guess I can throw in a Gundam or two if there's room. 

The bottom (Delta) shelf will have to wait until 2024 as I will be out of town for the rest of the year. 

Now that's a lovely Ranka figure! And it looks like it won't cost 30k+ either.

The actual cost per unit is going to be less than the Japanese MSRP. And of course Bandai is shipping thousands of items at once via ship, so the shipping cost per unit is far below what you or I are paying for 1 or 2 via FedEx. 

Add to that the current strength of the dollar vs the yen which means they're cashing in even more when the profits are repatriated to Japan. 

Set up the Zero/Plus/7 shelf. This one took a bit more effort because the Zero valks are monstrously huge, especially the Sv-51s. They're so big and heavy that they broke their 3D printed adapters so I had to drill a hole into them and insert a metal pin to reinforce them.

And I still don't have enough room for all of Diamond and Emerald Force. That will have to wait until I get my next set of cases.

They pop up on Mandarake from time to time, though not often.

I want a premium premium finish version 0S with all the weathering effects like the 0D.

Bandai saw the PO madness and thought "It's still too easy for people to buy our stuff. How can we make it harder?"

I took my 171s out of storage recently and had to pull the legs out to attach the armor parts. Twisting and popping the legs out was a bit harrowing. I thought I was going to snap the damn things off.

I like that you actually applied the stickers too. 

It's about 7 bucks cheaper than HLJ before shipping. But I prefer to buy from HLJ because of PW combined shipping, which more than offsets the price difference.

Keep in mind Amiami doesn't start until 3 am US central time (4 am eastern) for those who haven't gotten one yet.

Got one at HLJ. Learned my lesson from previous releases and will just nab another when they're inevitably discounted shortly after release like the 0S and 0D on Mandarake or Amazon.

You should buy it if you like the 0S. It's decent enough; it's only really a disappointment for spoiled individuals (like me) that have the Arcadia version and had expectations set way too high.
