That’s understandable. Yeah, my guess is Arcadia A will do it but yeah, I’d want to know for sure too.

Arcadia B is specifically for the weird hexagon plug they went with for their Macross Zero releases.

Arcadia A will work for everything else released by Arcadia or Yamato.

    I concur.

I only buy mooks/magazines from them. And those mooks always arrives with minor scruff and dents on the corners. They don't even shrink wrap the mooks. They just toss it as is on the nearest box size available and sometimes the closest bubble envelope size with no extra padded protection. So don't expect your collectible boxes without dents when you get them from AmazonJP.

I've already queued the montage of crushed boxes I've received in years past before so I won't repeat it here.

  Trying to wean off the Macross Multiple Valk Syndrome.

Im with you on that, primarily because I'm running out of space. I'll probably sell off my duplicates once I get my new moducases. I like having the extras for spare parts but really need to make space. :bigshok:

Revivial HMR Armored VF-1J arruved tiday.

Too lazy to get my 1/60s out, so all HMR 1Js for now...

    L-R:  HMR standalone VF-1J (v2) using clear canopy, Revival-1J (v3), and original HMR VF-1J (v1):

    Revival-GBP and OGBP:

    Notes on the Revival edition:

    • Bandai should've given us a separate neck-only cover when  in GBP mode.
    • The underside-covers can be kept installed even when in GBP mode.

Wait so did they get rid of the toilet bowl cleaner canopy or not? Haven't opened mine yet.

Yeah, I think you're right. In any case, I think it's shameful that they knew about breakages, delayed the release, and then apparently that time spent didn't seem to resolve anything.

It could have been avoided with using just a tiny bit less force on the shoulder screws. I guess over-tightening screws is the new thing because the screws on my revival 25 were also incredibly tight. Had to break out a much larger screwdriver to loosen them because my little hobby screwdriver simply couldn't provide enough torque.

Need to dig our the Yamato V.1. from where ever it is in storage for a group shot.

As far as I know only these 4 are the only official releases of a transforming VF-1D toys of the Macross series plus the Virgin road.

Great collection of Ds you have! 🫠

Someone just posted links in the PO tread, to huge discounts for the Arcadia VF-1 Milia & Max PFs. Such great value in the backdrop of this new HMR VF-1 pricing lol..

I saw that. Seriously considering picking up another M&M pair at that price...

I like low prices as much as anyone. But I think Arcadia provides some great value still.

Agreed. "Overpriced" is a subjective term, after all. I personally don't consider Arcadia to be overpriced for what I'm getting.

The good thing is Arcadia seems to charge the same price as they did around 10 years ago so with the exchange rate and inflation, we are getting them for less today than they were then. Not as cheap as Yamato days but still not bad. I’m in for both if they do it.

Yup, prices for all toy lines have gone up across the board.

I think because there were so many clearance sales way back in Yamato's heyday and people got used to those sale prices that once Yamato went under (turns out their business model wasn't great for solvency) and Arcadia had to move to a business model that would allow them to actually stay afloat that a bunch of people decided Arcadia was way overpriced and wanted the pricing back from the Yamato days.
