I might get one, but it's staying permanently in fighter mode. That battroid is fugly. 

Just like with the upcoming VF-19, this ain't replacing my Yamatos. 

So the thing about the VF-27 is that it never got a true renewal version like the 25 where it was redesigned from the ground up. The "renewal" 27 was just a slightly tweaked V1 DX from the original terrible Frontier toys, and the revival is just a slightly tweaked version of that. Which means the revival is essentially a 15 year old toy design, older than the 25 renewals. 

And the stripes on the hip plates are still wrong.

I didn't have to fix the joints on the revival armored 25. So much nicer without the glossy finish too.

Stock stands are always mediocre at best. Thank goodness for people like @BroTaku79 

The revivals improved the joints over the previous version.

Setting up the armored 25F was a gigantic hassle as it was floppy mess right out of the box. Needed to strengthen the hips, shoulders, ankles, and wings before putting it all together.

Been years since I had all Super Messiahs out on display.

Yes, it's clear in the original Japanese text that he is talking about the old version being left in battroid pose the entire time and that's probably why the joints have weakened.

Those display cabinets are very impressive. So, you still have Mac Plus, Mac 7, Zero, Frontier, (possibly some Macross II) to set up and of course you're forever favorite Delta. 

Yep still have a lot more to do and many more shelves to fill. Looking forward to breaking out the Basara and Mylene figures I bought way back when. Might even slap together the old 1/144 11MAXL kit.

Delta is the best Macross series ever... if you've never seen a Macross series before.

Yeah, but that one was on purpose because Bandai couldn't bother giving us two sitting figures for the 1D. 

Whoops! I left something on the SDFM shelf that belongs on the DYRL shelf. Can anyone spot it?

Thanks Shawn! Though that might be a bit too ambitious for me. Maybe one of these days I'll get a good quality printout of a starfield or DYRL battle screenshot and put it across the background...

Thanks! I wish I had more time these days to fix more up. I don't think I've finished a single valk since the VF-171 over a year ago. 

SDFM shelf mostly done now. Might have to get some risers for the flight stands to raise the fighters up because them 1/48 battroids are so huge.

Frontier shelf gonna take awhile... so many valks and character figures were released for that series, as I've discovered while taking out the many Sheryl & Ranka figures from storage. A testament to its popularity I suppose. I feel like some lemon cake for some reason...

DYRL shelf is pretty much done. Might throw a few HMRs and character figures in where there's space, but my focus is on the larger scale stuff.

Now to finish the SDFM and Frontier shelves...

It was pretty expensive given the exchange rate at the time.

Uh, let's just say I am too scared to open it now, or ever. 

PF 19 is up there as one of the best valkyrie toys ever IMO. I've only seen it pop up on Mandarake a couple of times. It was 50k iirc but with the current exchange rate it's cheaper than when I got mine. 

Now that I have a second set of moducases built, I have enough space to separate out SDFM and DYRL into separate shelves. Have space for my second SDF-1 in cruiser mode and Bandai's DX stuff too.

In the process of moving my collection to the new cases so I can move the old cases from my living area into my office/ready room. Probably going to be a multi-week project...

The pre-renewal frontier toys were pretty awful, but you actually made it look good there.
