Small air compressor and nozzle is fantastic for dust if you keep up with it. They can be had for very reasonable money.

-The size is great. It's right in that sweet spot for me of 9-12". It's 9 1/4" at the tips of his horns? Ears? Splines? Winglets? That's with the blade/cape rotated down like pictured. Rotate that up and he gets quite a bit taller. 10/10. -It;'s stunning. The sculpt and paint are off the charts. 10/10 -Articulation is petty good. 8/10 -Quality/feel is pretty good. It's not very weighty though compared to the latest SOC stuff and Metal Build. If the bar had not been raised by Bandai the quality would feel great. Against the Bandai bar I give it a 7/10. If the bar wasn't set that high I would say 9/10. -Some of the articulation points are...lacking. The chest swivel is looser than I would like, but not a problem. The shoulder joints aren't fantastic. They ratchet pretty good. But the "detents" are wider apart than what I would like. And they're not very rigid. You can split that double battle ax thing into two axes. I wanted to pose him with one in each hand but the shoulders aren't "tight" enough to do anything but hang down when he's holding on to them. It's a bit of a bummer when a toy can't hold up its weapons. Granted, they're huge. This does reduce the toys impact to me. I don't know what you would call this. Pose-ability? Whatever it is I give it a 6/10. I may be a little harsh here. I really wanted to pose him with the battle axes in each hand. I'd buy it again. My first review.

Are those straw grenades California legal?

I do, I do. I've never done a PO on one of these. Does it work the same as a DX Valk? Same places?

Got some more stands in and "Zero" adapters so I could crack these SV-51's out of their boxes. The Nora is obviously a Yamato. The Ivan is the Arcadia. Fun fact. The Arcadia supplied stand adapter has a ID for the pin 6 1/2 thousandths lager than the Yamato so the YetiStand Zero adapter doesn't work for anything but level flight. @ChaoticYeti knows about it and is whipping up a couple of prototype Arcadia/Zero adapters for me to test drive. Right now I have the old OG Zero adapter in there with about a million coats of Crazy Glue on the pin so it will fit tight in the Arcadia adapter. -
That's super frustrating. I was even able to get legs out of whatever random place sold me one through AmazonJP. If all else fails I have a friend in Japan you can have Arcadia ship yours to. He will forward them for me.

Crap pic, no lighting really. I can't fit the tall guy in any of my lighted cabs. ThreeZero Ultraman came in today. I've got a soft spot in my heart for Ultraman. Loved him when I was a kid. Old classic on the left, new anime version on the right (ThreeZero). -
Not really boat shipping (I don't think). I got it off eBay. There was one on there for a really good price. it's coming out of HK. It just cleared HK 12hrs ago.

I'm speculating on a few things here. -Sunlight effects them all. But to different degrees depending on the different plastic formulations. You could have three sitting next to each other on the same shelf that yellow at different rates because of the plastics used. Best solution, remove sunlight. -How they are stored. I think I'm seeing a trend where the valks in Styrofoam "coffins" are more prone to yellowing than the ones in the clear plastic "coffins". This makes sense. Styrofoam breaks down over time and "off gases". It's the same thing you get on the inside of your car widows where they slowly get foggy and then it's hard to clean off. That stuff on the window is the byproduct of the seat foam off gassing. Basically you have the foam degrading and then depositing itself on the windows. That's why it's so hard to get it all cleaned off. That off gas "material" can't be good for the plastic toy. I think this goes a long way to explaining why valks like VF-25's that have been stored MISB come out yellowed. Wait a few more years and you will see the same thing with the 29's and 31's. For this reason the few I'm not displaying have been removed from their Styrofoam coffins for storage. -Then you have the climate where they're being stored. I don't know what is better/worse. Dry or humid. My guess is dry. What I would bet money on is if that climate fluctuates often you will get more reaction. Keep the temps and humidity constant and you will probably eliminate that variable almost completely. -Obviously the smoke free environment is a plus. -Keep dust off of them. -Keep your furnace filters fresh. The above is all Bro Science. Take it with a grain of salt.
