  1. LED's are sooooo complicated. I had to put LED drivers in two of my cabs then get bulbs that didn't hurt my eyes. I started knowing nothing of LED's. By the time I was done I've got an "associates" degree in it. I really didn't want to know that much! Now CRI ratings, sheesh!
  2. This. The pin would probably need to be removed by destroying it. So then it will need that new parts, and a new fastening system. I'd be happy to take a crack at designing a fastening fix. But none of mine are cracked/broken. I'm not "drilling" into one of these.
  3. I'm new to ShowZ. I have three things currently inbound with this shipping company: https://www.cne.com/english Their tracking seems a bit.....sketchy. Is that the norm? Do they eventually turn up USPS? If not, who is delivering them? Thanks!
  4. Too soon to tell.
  5. I have four. None of them have the breakage issue.
  6. I'd wager the delay has something to do with the SV-51 leg thing. It was probably pandemonium down there.
  7. LOL, yeah. I've had that. I'm like, "That's a neat trick. I haven't seen you even drive by yet". The text alerts are really nice.
  8. At the bigger offices there is actually a person who's job it is to take those reports. That seems to get some action sometimes.....maybe I've tried the online portal. That's useless. All of my carriers are women. I think I've actually gotten more mileage out of being nice, polite and complimentary than anything else.
  9. I use USPS for all of my international stuff. I drive into a small Post Office near me that's so small they're closed for lunch and for the day at 3:00pm. They're fantastic down there. 10min north at the big Post Office it's a nightmare. They act like I'm bothering them. I agree it's driver dependent. My UPS drivers (I have four that rotate though) are all really good. I go the extra mile to help the load and unload the trucks. I meet them in the driveway when I hear them coming, etc. That stuff goes a long way when something gets sketchy. My regular USPS driver is fantastic. If I'm not home when she tries to make a delivery she will swing back by a few hours later and try again. Her subs are horrible though.
  10. My regular carrier is great. She knows I have all of this stuff coming and and how rare/valuable it is. But, when she has a day off her subs are horrible. I've had to run across my court and catch them at a house across the street (stooping at my mailbox first) with the delivery attempt slip in my hand. They just shrug their shoulder and give me the "oh well". I keep reporting them. It doesn't seem to mater. It must be nice to be that horrible at your job and get to keep it.
  11. The PO is the WORST! I have had them lie straight to my face on multiple occasions. "We tried to deliver it, no one was there" "Well, let's check the video. Please point out when a Postal worker stepped on the porch. I'll wait".
  12. Well played sir, well played.
  13. Roger dodger, thanks!
  14. You dirty rat!!!! Thanks again. That heads up was much appreciated. I found a set of S&S parts on feeBay for the Stealth Strike Parts. The guy had a bid on it already. I messaged him asking if he had a BIN and to name his price. He said because there was a bit he wanted to let it run out. I'll bet I get it for less than he could have gotten out of me.
  15. Thank you sir. Between just finding out Iran shot off all the missiles (and then finding out a little later they didn't really hit anything) and the potential of cooking my toys I was about to get stressed. So it appears no WWIII and no cooked toys. It should be a good day today.
  16. What figure is that?
  17. Interesting. My fixtures are for MR-11 bulbs. I just did a Google and didn't get anything in a MR-11 RGB. Can you maybe point me in the right direction? Thanks!
  18. I switched out all of my LED's to warm white/240lm (they're darn near yellow compared to the white lights). Not because I had thought of UV output (I should have). But because the white was just way too much. I've got I think 40 total LED bulbs. With white lights my office was like the center of the sun! This is what I went with. Any thoughts? I certainly don't want to cook my toys. Thanks! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01HA130R6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I think that's how Dr Manhattan was made.
  19. With a heads up from @borgified (Stealth) and I can't remember who gave me the heads up on the 51 (sorry) I got my hands on these two rare birds that I wanted very much. Thanks guys!!!
  20. I thought that was you that had told me about even low levels of UV being a thing. On your advice I have also banished all UV light from the toy room. It's not a "dark room" because of a little bit of light that reflects down the hallway and through the door. But it's really close.
