    I have a set of Yamato 1/48 Super and Strike parts that I'm going to disassemble and paint flat black to go one a Low Vis (grey) paint scheme. I'm "competent" using a spray can. But I don't know what to use and how to prep. How should I prep the surface? Should I use some sort of primer? And what do you suggest for what paint to use? Links would be fantastic. Especially Amazon. Thanks guys!

    I'm in Vegas Right now. There is a "the party before the end of the world" feel to it. It's a little weird. I'm counting on copious amounts of alcohol to keep me virus free. Saw a sign on one of the big "ballet clubs" that said. "Coronavirus free lap dances here!"

    Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of the 1J. And what I do like about is that it's iconic. It's growing on me more and more though now that I have it displayed. Your logic is sound on the re-issue. They're really going to limit sales of GBP if they don't.

    This is all I have for 25-31s. I don't see it changing much. Maybe one more Chronos in Battroid. I want to keep this series in one shelf. I can maybe stuff one more in there before it starts looking to busy. If I go past that I will need to completely populate an additional shelf...........because reasons.

    I had two paper routes right next to each other totaling 280 houses. I started at age 11 and had them until I was 16. Papers had to be on the porches by 6:30am. And I live in Michigan. So there were some sub zero days in there. And then I went to school. No one batted an eye. Looking back that was some seriously hard work. On the upside I had more money than the rich kids (we were decidedly lower middle class/single Mom).

    I want to stash another 1J away for the maybe GBP release. But then I wonder if they will do a grey goggle. Then I'll regret having bought another 1J at the current pricing. I suppose worse case the 1J probably won't go down in value. I have three MISB 1S's though. I can probably use one to trade at some point if I need to.
