It's a logical guess. It's also logical for manufacturers to improve their products, to start with the raw materials. Dang, I want an the U.N. Space Kite emblem on my car also! Or at least a small one on my rear window.

Resounding "meh" from me. Certainly better than the original one that came with the Q-Rau, but other than that they're just glorified versions of the Macross Figure Collection figures CMs makes. Just bigger and a little bit better quality. My biggest complaint is they really should have included a head for each body (there's three bodies and two heads) and then included full accessories for each head (helmet, long hair + added a short hair option x 3). There are two different faces though, that are interchangeable. Vostok 7 Mmm, thanks for the 'warning', I'm expecting mine soon. Maybe someone can do some recast of the heads or scratchbuild them, this Milia makes that possible!

Yeah, the Robotech Masters are dope. The Valkyrie does have some stabilizer fins, maybe the rear wings are replaced by those feet.

But above of that, if there are no alien ships with technological goodies to boost ours decades ahead, I'm affraid transforming jet fighters are not (yet) a possibility. Metals aren't just strong and light enough to build something that almost defies gravity without getting stressed on the joints and other parts of a battroid. And if it is possible, it won't be designed as an outdated model of the 70's/80's. The millitary also have their tastes and torped the last two stealth fighters that looked too unconventional.

That's really odd indeed... I got the DVD from the UK at the beginning of April this year...

There was some music, most notable was the original theme in a more contemporary version, very short though. It's in the scene where Adama is about to make a speech, when that a wing of Vipers is making a pass over the convention hall of the Galactica. I really loved the space battles with the verniers and turning with the so-called 'afterburner-slide', which most people who know Wing Commander would recognize it. Great! Like Graham, I wasn't a true fan of the original, so I have no problem with this remake. Only thing is that the new mechanical Cylons are moving a bit stiff.

Same price as HLJ, but I had good experience with it and saw a slightly cheaper Milia from Yamato and combined that. LOL That's exactly why I don't and just can't shop at Hobby Search. I always end up buying at least $600 worth of stuff every time I'm there when I only intended to spend between $50 and $100. Very bad on the wallet. Ha! So that's how some good stuff are out of stock so quickly! They do have some great stuff though, that are often discounted. Now I have to wait for the book...

Meh, otaku priced it GBP18.95, so that would be a whopping $35.00!

Looks better. What Lynx said; that will be a potential kill zone, the launch tube in the bow would be practicaly uncovered by its focussed opening. Unless you plan on using shields, but if that fails, your fighters are shot before they can clear the bow area. I'd rather then put the launch bays in the 'wings' which the tube from the left and right are protected by the hull the front, aft, top and bottom by a wide variety of turrets, AA flak-guns and missile-launchers. (Galactica had no wings on its sides, thus its launch and landing bays were shot to pieces or kamikazed every time, very ineffective). Or add more large 'sprouts' that stick out of the bow, that might help cover the fighters when they are most vulnerable. The size of this cap-ship should be at least three to five times bigger than that sea-carrier, because we're talkin about space; three-dimensional fights, three times the strike crafts to cover the zone around this ship. It needs more equipment to scan its area, targeting enemies, really big-ass anti-capship guns, large torpedoes, more armor plating to stand on its own (current aircraft carriers always have the luxury to have a contingent of support ships to defend themselves, in space you need to be multi-roled and to be prepared for nasty surprises that suddenly arrives by hyperspace or warp). And it should be able to harbor large shuttlecrafts, corvettes etc. and space to store food and ordnance for long missions. Should really be bigger.

not to mention it was Hikaru's flight suit, not her own.... hmmmm... and now they are seperated.... You mean...? Poor Max! Maybe that is the reason why they are living apart...

I got them both now, ordered at Jungle-scs.co.jp. The only downside is that Minmay's face is too light; the paint of the eyes and mouth are like pastel paintings, too soft and almost no color. The Mylene is not that bad, the 'monkey'-ish features does not stand out too much. If only I had a CMS Mylene to compare it...

Well, then add a 'bridge' at the top of the stern, some extra modules on the ship, even smaller modules on the bigger middle ones on the 'wings'. They may be extra armor to protect some vital areas, equipment for stellar cartography and scanning, missile-launchers or gun turrets. I like the new design, you may add some of these suggestions to make the ship 'bigger',more rugged, and fatter, Knight26. Or perhaps use the bow of the first design.
