Thanks for the warm VT-1 club welcome. Nothing special on the first release though. It's just a Hikaru Valk and I went outside my Red, Black, White/Tan only Valks just to complete his. And I was hoping for a 30th Anniversary version but the first release was the only available MIB at that time when I went and bid for it. -
So I transformed the 31J last night following Jenius transformation video. And how solid it is in Battroid mode. I really like all the locking tabs on the upper body area and kinda dig the swivel 'collar' part. Too bad the thigh swivel joints behind the intakes is kinda stiff so I don't want to stress it too much by moving it side to side. The only one thing I noticed overall and I'm not sure if it's just me. Did anyone noticed how crisp and thin the plastic they used for this DX Valk compared to the previous released VF-19 and from the Frontier Valks? Like it's more fragile. Like one wrong move in transformation, you will easily create a stress mark or something. Overall, I like the new gimmicks and the transformation sequence. But I really still hate the wings on the back during Battroid mode. It takes too much space in displaying.

Instead of Macross Delta for search keywords, use DX VF-31F or VF-31F. Because if you use Macross Delta, it will show all Macross Delta products. Hope that helps.

Some hauls during the Holidays. S.H.Figuarts Tony Stark and Iron Man Mk.III Yamato 1/60 VT-1 Super Ostrich (Holy Grail) courtesy of cdidio. Thank you sir! I'm loving it. And finally, Bandai DX VF-31J Siegfried [Hayate Immelman] I love the new box design. But sad to say even if I paid Nippon-Yasan for that extra requested Y800 additional shipping cost, I didn't get enough protection. As far as I recall, AmiAmi is still the best when it comes to packing boxes. -
Just helping out sir. Like I said earlier, let's just hope it's part of their production lineup. And it's nice if it's going to be a web-exclusive.

Great review as always Jenius. Still waiting for mine though. Our workplace is having backlogs on packages during the Christmas break. Count me in on the landing knee gear. Everytime I look at it on photos online, I really appreciate how unique the look is. Assuming people will not throw rocks at me. Hahaha! True about HLJ. As much as I love them esp their Customer Service, I just don't like how they pack stuff esp for big bulk packages. No protection. No concern if you're going to receive a good box copy. For them, box is just box. NY also gave me this extra shipping cost request. And the moment I paid them, they ship it out instantly. Hahaha!
