I was considering all of three of them when they were widely available when I dicovered Mandarake back then. But most of the reviews I've read and watched are saying the same thing -- that they're so fragile. And knowing that they're expensive I can't pull the trigger for it before. So I'm just wishing for a bigger scale. And hopefully it comes pre-painted too. Don't mind paying the same price as the Alter ones or a little bit more as long that it's on par like Calibre Wings 1/72 scale make, I'm good to wait.

Atleast the 31J has some black trimmings on the Kai. Would be nice to see how the 31S look with Kai's black trimmings.

Actually there was indeed an announcement about a Macross VR game from last year's Walkure concert. But beyond that there's no updates.

Nah. They've been doing that ever since. Think of the VF-1's. It's the same mold for the last 10 years. The only thing they did after 10 years after those 'option parts' that were included in Yamato's 30th Anniversary releases is to tweak small things but the big add-ons were the screw covers for Max and Millia reissues. But as for the YF-19, I think they got it the first time based on their current design that they did.

Do you guys think that if they release the Armored Packs, does that mean it's just designed for Arad's, Chuck's, and the 31A's if ever and it's not going to be available to the others? I know it's movie based. But that doesn't stop Bandai to 'recolor' for the others, right?
