  1. Sure, as long the next PO is Hikaru's VF-1A. If not, you guys can have all the PO fun.
  2. True. And to be honest, forcing oneself to collect this new DX 1/48 line is already madness due to its PO shenanigans. I guess, it's time to re-evaluate my life.
  3. Atleast when it went up it's after it got released compared to the VF-1 where the price went up almost doubled at NY in just a span of 5 minutes.
  4. Well, Y12000 is still without shipping. If you choose EMS for US-bound, then it's Y14900. You only saved Y80. With that, just order thru AJ. It will arrive to the US first. Probably it's a glitch.
  5. If it's SEED, then there's chance that it's going to be the other packs for Strike? Next information will be revelead come June 17? Easy pass. Money saved. I rather have the actual TV-canon Packs.
  6. For those who missed out on the missiles or want more, NY has it for Y12000. https://www.nippon-yasan.com/figures/26995-dx-chogokin-missile-set-for-vf-1-limited-edition.html

    Hi-Metal R

Cool photo effects, guys. Don't want to be like an @$$ here, but keep in mind that this is a thread for Hi-Metal R's. For non-HMR, we can use the existing threads below.
  8. Would love to watch if it only comes subtitiled. But thanks for the great news. If they will do a second PO release for the SSP, they should also do the same with the VF-1S too. Because what's the point of opening more of the SSP when there's not enough Valk in the first place? Oh, Bandai. I really love hating you nowadays. They're also not just paid to pretend they're interested in the hobby. They were also paid before to do the Delta character voices as well. Besides, the other things that mentioned above. The Arm parts is more angled and a little bit shorter. Here's a pic from @jenius' Anymoon website.
  9. I'm just assuming that f the Skull Marking Part is double-sided then it's going to look awkward to have that internal mechanism option for the booster packs. You can't display with the internal mechanism showing without the inner portion of the circle marking part a little bit exposed.
  10. I think with the pace they're going we'll definitely going to see their design for the VF-1 40th Anniversary Edition.
  11. Just so you know, it's not a survey for what figure is coming out. It's more of what's famous in which category within the said anime.
  12. Besides, on that image above where the lineup of Skull Marking is, it didn't say 'decal' nor 'sticker'. It just only says 'Skull Mark Parts Included' in katakana and kanji. Maybe there's an access like the Yamato/Arcadia that shows the internal parts and at the same time, you can pull that certain circular parts on the side and change it. Basically making it as interchangeable markings(?). Just a thought and I think it's the practical way to go.
  13. As of now, all we have is the P-Bandai link for this which was been posted by @tjdetweiler a few pages ago. In approximately 10 hours the Tamashii page is going to get updated before or during the actual P-Bandai PO site happens. By then, all we can do is wait.
  14. This has been asked a lot of times now and nobody know for certain if there's details underneath it like the Yamato/Arcadia ones and the Hi-Metal R ones.
  15. Ok. What Tamashii offering now is a DYRL version. Remember that the arm pack for SDFM is different from DYRL. And Bandai already shown a prototype for that before. When they're going to release we never know. All we can do is speculating or buy a lot of DYRL packs in the hopes that you already have it in case Bandai decided not to release the TV version after all. The only downside to that is if you want TV accurate packs then the DYRL is not for you because the TV version also have different color. All of them used the packs in the beginning of the movie. Roy's used the Strike Pack and he was designated as 001. The rest of the 3 are using Super Packs. Now if we're going to check again the markings option provided by Bandai via this pic below, it shows Red 001 (Hikaru 1S), Black 001 (Roy 1S), Blue 013 (Max 1A), and Green 012 (Kakizaki 1A). Max wasn't shown with packs when he got promoted to 1S during his battle with Millia. AFAIK, all 1S units have 001 designation. Seeing that there's no Red Skull marking with 011, would that mean Bandai might release Hikaru's VF-1A bundled with Super Parts? Which in that process will omit the Strike Cannon in the bundle. In other words, if ever Bandai is going to release a Max VF-1S, I don't think they will release a separate pack for it with a Blue Skull with 001 designation, right? Since it wasn't shown in the DYRL movie. However, since Max's VF-1S heatshield was painted in black in the movie, I think you can use Roy's Black Skull 001 marking for it. What do you guys think?
  16. Brothers, eh? Just use those two kids from Ready Player One. And make the younger one -- Tetsuo.
  17. At this scale, it would've been nice to have the Micro Missile Pod launch slot gimmick to be open and expose the head point of the micro missile ready to disperse.
  18. Welcome to MacrossWorld. Since you just joined and post, please make sure you check where you need to post. The Toy section where you post is for 'official' releases. Any customs or outside of that concept, sould be in the Workshop section. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/forum/23-the-workshop/ Though we also have a Lego section under Anime or Science Fiction section, where I think it's appropriate to post your inquiry. To answer your question, I think it's best to post a comment to Daikon Cat's stream and see how it goes. Again, welcome to this wonderful community.
  19. In case you missed the few posts above you, the preorder for that is going to open on June 7.
  20. The VF-1J is not a test subject for Bandai. Think of it like the RX-78. It’s the icon figure for a show. Even though people will say that Roy’s 1S is the famous one, Hikaru’s 1J will always be the icon for SDFM. Same applies on Hikaru’s 1S for the DYRL Movie. In a sense, it’s the safe model to release. It’s very hard to claim that Kaki’s Valk ‘will be’ a TWE until an official announcements that it’s going to be made happens first. But yeah, the safe releases or sould I say the more chances it’s going to sell is going to come from the Vermillion or Skull Squadron Valkyries.

    Bandai DX VF-31

There’s no official news whether this version is going to get released. For now, it’s being displayed in the exhibit. It’s also not featured in the last movie but who knows with the planned new movie that was announced few weeks ago. But it’s based on the blu-ray box artwork. At Y18000-19000+ per armor set, I don’t think I can complete the whole squadron with it. I’m just happy with the Super Parts. And Bandai needs to finish that Supers first before starting the Armors on the rest of the Siegfrieds. And iirc, Arad’s and Chuck’s armors have different colors from the first movie. Chuck’s having more of an olive dab than orange.
  22. Bandai should’ve lend him an advance copy or the prototype they used for promotion to complete that line up. I mean, that’s Kawamori. His office/production group doesn’t need to buy a copy just to have it display on his exhibit, right?
