Nice! I think VF-4 is an acquired taste. What's so funny with this Battroid is that when you put it beside a VF-1 or YF-19, it looks ugly. But on its own, it looks gorgeous. -

Apologies that I'm no expert on TF's. All I did is watch the clip from the movie that I posted above and noticed that the smoke stacks were straight and not curved as what on the toy photo shows. Unless I'm seeing it wrong though. -

Hey @borgified. I think I got my math wrong. I came up with the 40th by subtracting 1982 from 2022, when in fact it should be 2021. So I guess, it's going to end up as an odd number if they're going to release it this year. VF-39. 39th Anniversary. And yes, damn, I'm old.

I don't think there was any new updates since they announce the title. No news whether it's going to be an anime or just a side story. Thanks @jenius! As much as I know that I will appreciate the english description in the upcoming Robotech book, I'll settle with what I have currently even though they're all in Nihonggo. I just love looking and drooling on those mechanical drawings. Period. Hehehe.

Thanks for that link. But since it's a Robotech artbook, does that mean it will just be existing artworks with most we're already seen from the original creators? Or screenshots from each episodes and its synopsis? Plus probably artworks from Tommy Yune? Just asking coz I don't own any Robotech books from before. And I just thought that there will be a new artbook from Tatsunoko.
