i know i brought up the option DYRL hands but whatever happend to the hands someone on these boards were working on?

but how do we know that they aren't really just optional DYRL hands? i mean, if yamato still listens to this forum they could just be providing optional hands included with the standard "chicken finger" hands...and as for the color change theory...i had a theory about it myself but after thinking about it, it sounded sort of stupid since it more or less invovled the 1/60 hikaru and 1/60 roy color changes which no one would really bother listening to i just don't want a TV VF-1S since i never really watched the series myself.... i've just seen the movie so it would be nice to have something from the movie vs the tv series....i know i'd appreciate the toy more that way and like i said before...nothing's confirmed, all this is speculation at this time

i honestly don't like the darker grey color...so if it's really going to be the TV version i would assume they'd change the style of the box slightly to show that it's the TV version and not the DYRL? version...also, if it is the TV version i would also assume that the cockpit would change also (which the person neglected to list ) with the figure change...at this point i feel this is all just speculation since nothing is "set in stone" because yamato hasn't given any details of their re-release of the VF-1S...while it would be likely i wouldn't get my hopes up just yet until we get confirmation from yamato

i always enjoyed capcom's game engine since it was always easy to pick up basic combos, throws, and other things...in snk i feel like the characters are sorta "stiff" so at times some of the moves look a little awkward to say the least.

you know...it was sort of rude to accuse valkfan of being rick the hunter...if any of you actually go through the MW site you could see that this figure here is a 1/55 custom valkfan did himself some time ago...i was looking through the custom page a few days ago and thought the valk looked familiar and figured the person behind it just needed some cash...i didn't think anything of it so i didn't post anything but after seeing this accusation i feel that maybe i should've said something...at least it would've stopped any accusations from poping up...but then again it could've ended up being worse than it already is... i feel like if a toy needs the diecast then it should have it...and it should be put in places where the diecast is needed...not just slapped on just for the hell of it...and i don't feel like diecast really makes the toy since the 1/48 VF-1's are better balanced than the 1/60 VF-1's...but if you look at the 1/60, it actually needed the diecast in the legs to help it balance better...i know for sure if the 1/60's were all plastic they'd be falling over constantly...and as for the 1/48's...they could actually do well with or without the diecast content...the diecast is good but isn't really needed...it's perfectly balanced as is so no need for diecast...as for the alternators vs. binaltech...i feel like it all goes down to personal preference...i feel the plastic alternators are just as good in quality as the binaltech toys...again, the designs takara put into their toys pretty much make it so you don't really need the diecast content so the toy could do well with or without it...again, it all goes down to personal preference

the armor actually comes on pretty easily. and i suggest not using the big hands since they look awful. you will have problems with the pegs on the legs...you'll only be able to pose the 1/60 chunky monkey style once the armor is on. and like most people, the crouch armor sucks...you'll have to use clear tape to keep it together.

well if you get one thru HLJ you're almost paying those $200

forgot if this has been asked before but are both designs of the -14 (early concept shown in M7 and "refined" version shown in th M3 video game) share the same codename "Vampire"? or does it just refer to the -14 in M3?

yeah i just got the email too...it's really messed up for a company to announce a book then say they weren't going to bring it out after all...just total bull this company might've been trying to get a license to release a macross book and decided to announce a book before they even got any type confirmation from BW that it was okay to do so ...so when they did get a message back from BW they said no and had to pull everything off from their orders and their site

who's the mechanical designer for the PG Strike anyways? i've been going through the threads and i don't remember a name being mentioned

so a resin B-Club conversion kit would be our best bet then huh?

does anyone think it might be possible that maybe another company aside from bandai will make different packs for the PG Strike? it would be kinda cool to see the Gunbarrel or the Lightening or even the IWSP on the the truely definitive version of the Strike Gundam
