are you talking about how the yamato's legs are completely straight and the modded kit's legs sorta curve out? i actually like the legs on the modded hasegawa kit more than the yamato's legs

sorta OT but....what's the posibility of Bandai releasing any more Char's Counterattack MG kits? there's a couple MS's I wouldn't mind having in MG form HOBBY HI-ZACK!

i also liked beast wars/beast machines...sure the CG wasn't all that great but it's just one of those shows you watch for the story...the action is just there to further the story along...

true...the VF-0 looks more like a real-world type fighter than the VF-1 though... OT but...what military branch are you going to get into?

not to sound mean or anything but with any animals (or childern for that matter) around the house you should lock doors up and put your projects up as high as you can...i've lost many parts in the past from my nieces and nephews getting into my unfinished kits (and even more into my finished kits ) now if i build or paint something, it's usually in a place they can't get into...like in an extra room or the garage... with that said...i would just continue building the kit without the head...you could say it's a demo version of the VF-0S ...but that's just me...i suck at sculpting so i wouldn't resulpt one...if you have the skill and time to resculpt a head then by all means do so...but it seems like you're strapped for time so maybe it would be a bad idea to do it at this point in time...you could also ask for a head here on the boards or order the tree the head was on from HLJ or any other online store that does parts requests... wish you luck on your kit

i know that this is a lot to ask of you but could you check the item number on your order? is it still YMT00018 or did the number change? if the number did change then that means the valk will be the TV version and not the DYRL? version most of us have been hoping for...and thank you for checking, it's much appreciated

i really like how this one turned out...you did a better job decalling this one than the other minmay gaurd...the decals look more like they're painted on...very beautiful custom...didn't really like the color scheme but you really made this version of the minmay guard look good

i was bored last night and couldn't sleep...so i busted out my old Dreamcast (yes it's still a good system, even though it came out too late for it's time) and played all the Capcom Vs. titles...as much as i liked playing the Capcom Vs. SNK games i was more impressed by Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 just because the moves were smoother and everything was much easier to handle (or that could've been because i started to pick up some of my old moves by the time i got to M-VS-C 2 )

i was looking through HLJ trying to find the model kit the 1/60 VF-1's were based off of...needless to say, i didn't find it but i came across this VF-1 model that had parts that looked a lot like the parts used to transform the yamato VF-0 ...here's the link... http://www.hlj.com/scripts/hljpage.cgi?YLS006

they did it before when they put up preorders for the 2nd release of the VF-1S... so unless one of the guys who preordered it can confirm anything from HLJ then i don't know...i can't confirm anything since i canceled the order before i even knew they were put on the "discontinued" status... no wonder i couldn't sign in to HLJ earlier...they were updating all their stuff

hlj could've sold out of all their preorders...it's happend before so it's no real surprise that it'd happen eventually
