  1. I also enjoyed the show, but am totally not surprised that it's gone. Just when it was hitting its stride as far as bringing plot points together, they did the re-tool. Which wasn't that bad in and of itself, but I didn't enjoy the totally episodic nature after that. And expensive to produce? It couldn't have been because of the actor's salaries...
  2. Have you ever considered putting a digital camera in your workshop and making how-to videos for us audience-types? While my mechanical skills are far too anemic to come close to copying you, just watching something come from nothing would be a real treat.
  3. Oh, there's no doubting that. Plus Wrex had some of the best deadpan snarker lines in videogamedom.
  4. Is this a kit model or a completed toy?
  5. Wrex Schmex. Ashely is the only character we need to survive
  6. They'd better, otherwise what's the point in keeping our saves? Decisions like, "Who dies?" are a major part of the game and it'd be terrible if the game devs don't follow through with their promises.
  7. Also, and I can't believe this hasn't been brought up yet, we really, really, really need faster elevators!!!
  8. Plus more Ashley
  9. So I've had this on-and-off attraction to Heavy Rain ever since I played it's precursor, Indigo Prophecy. The trailers and gameplay footage from E3 have sold me on the game, and subseuqently the console. As a 360 user, can someone give a quick summary of available models and prices for the PS3? Thanks.
  10. Okay, it isn't so. Happy now?
  11. I actually enjoyed the Starbug episodes. Quite entertaining and a nice change of pace.
  12. Yeah, it just wasn't Red Dwarfy without the laughtrack. As I sat here watching it, it was very obviously missing. As for the show itself... engh. At best, engh.
  13. And is that really such a bad thingÉ I quite enjoyed the first film, so more of the same wonèt bother me in the least
  14. *pan up, zoom on breasts* *pan down, obligatory ass-shot* *pan back up to breasts* *repeat for the length of the film*
  15. More nekkid Ashley, is what I was thinking...
  16. I guess all our wishes could be summed up as: more. Do everything they did in ME1 just have more of it. More customization, more planets, more variety, more speed, more...
  17. The Mako sequences would've been better with more intuitive controls, better suspension on the buggy itself, and variable gravity fields. The codex goes to so much trouble including the surface gravity of each planet, it would've been nice to actually experience in the game itself. But my major #1 request of ME2: BETTER LOAD TIMES!!! *pant, wheeze* I can't tell you how much it annoyed me, having to sit through that tedious elevator ride every time I wanted to chat up and eventually nail Ashley.
  18. Trailers? Mislead? Never happen! What sort of freaky world do you live in where trailers amount to false advertising?
  19. I like that this is the first TF that I know of where the front of the vehicle doesn't become the robot's chest. It gets extra points for that alone.
  20. And this is new for this place... how?
  21. You speaketh the trutheth. In the end, I think this will be little more than an, "Om nom nom nom nom popcorn" movie. And I'm happy with that
  22. IIRC, on the Tron DVD set they mentioned that a theatrical sequel was always on the books, but they had a hard time getting money and people involved.
  23. Thanks for the link. As for SE... he was better as a skilled commando, someone who used guns and blades and bare fists. Skilled in the martial arts I can go for, but once he became a ninja was just the shark-jumping moment and the first in a very long spiral of character derailment, IMHO. Super Seekret Ninja Skillz is the realm of C+/B- grade territory. Did anyone watch the CGI GI Joe short film that came out with the toys a few years back? I thought that one was pretty nifty (even with Ninja-Snakes...)
