My box is an HP Media, m8020n, Intel 945G Express chipset @ 2.4 GHz, 3 gigs of RAM, 1 TB harddrive (with only 250 gigs left; might need to do some deleteing...), and a GeForce 7350 LE in a PCI-Express port. 300 W power supply. -

So after realizing just how old my PC is (and the fact that TOR refused to run on it) I'm debating between updating my video card/power supply or just upgrading to a new system altogether. Unfortunatly, trying to read up on video cards and what can do what has left me all -like and utterly confused. Can anyone reccomend a mid-cost video card that fits that criteria? Or would it just be easier to update my system wholesale? -
Oh, I knew what the syspecs were before this invite. I've already planned which card/power supply/etc. I need to buy in order to play this. In all truth, it's this matching of specs that turned me off of PC gaming in the first place. That being said, "knowing" what the min reqs. are and seeing "below minimum" for my own eyes was... enlightening. Also going to lighten my wallet, too

No, it was for this weekend. The solution was to go into the Properties tab and check "run this as an admin". Then it worked just fine... Until the game loaded (barely) and I realized just how sucky my dinosaur of a desktop was . But now I know what I'm getting myself for an advance XMas present

How does this Beta thingie work, anyway? It's 5pm CST and the "play" button is still ghosted out. I didn't get any sort of access code in the emails TOR sent me, so what gives?

I'd be happier for this if TF Prime's toyline had come out already. Don't get me wrong, I love me some new TF toys, but announcing a new line when your OTHER new line still hasn't come out? Over-kill.

So I discovered after the download kept going and going and going... Plus, I kept reading all sorts of issues in the Beta Test forums on TOR.com and I'm happy to report that it all went smoothly... except for the fact that the "play" button is ghosted out Yes, I know that in 23 hours, 34 minutes, and 17 seconds it'll be unghosted and ready for me to abus- err, "play", but it still stings. I hate waiting for anything.

So after 10 hours of backbreaking work, I finally come home to read my beloved Beta invite. It's been dancing in my head like sugarplum faries, just beyong my reach and yet my mind wouldn't stop replaying the epic TOR trailers. I get home, avoid the unneccessary time to taking off my boots or jacket or anything, sit down at my computer, load the email, click the "RESPOND TO PLAY" button. A window spawns from the TOR website and I'm all giddy and bouncing in my seat. "Sorry, site is currently undergoing maintanace. AKA: SCREW YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!" And then there was much sobbing.

Yes, I read the email. Yes, I know what it really is for. Yes, it was an attempt at humour that (apparently) fell flatter than a prairie This is a good thing, since my factory is closing for the weekend and I get the time off to actually enjoy this

Actually, the films do take that into account. If you watch the race battle in IM2, he busts out the Mark IV suitcase armour and during the battle you can see the thin armour on his left arm got shredded by Vanko's whiplashes. His blue racing suit is visible in the gashes and his bare hand can be seen poking out of the gauntlet.

I used to want one, but then I realized that this was Gunnery Chief Ashley Williams we were talking about. I imagine the posing session with the sculptor to go something like this: Sculptor: "Okay! We've made some changes to your armour, added the high heels, a deep cleavage-exposing gash down the front, and hardned nipples on the front. Ashley: "..." Sculptor: "Now, it's time for the pose. Lean forward. No, more. Yeah, keep your legs straight like that. Now use your arms to frame your brea-" Ashley: *boom* "Headshot." And that's why we love her

After seeing what happened with MP-09 and the issues it had, as cool as they are I won't be paying for a $250 Japan release. $60 Hasbro versions only for me

I disagree. I think Bioware has left every major decision as unknown in the "official" canon. They've not even specified Shepards gender in the novels
