    Confirmation emails from HLJ sometimes take a few minutes. Just happened to me. CD states theres only 2 left, but sometimes I find their site states theres always 2 instock when there's actually none.

    You might've lost you preorder on the 262 along with your account. If you had two orders sitting on your account since day one of the preorder madness for the 262 hlj usually gives you a small window to cancel the extra or email them regarding the 'mistaken' extra orders. If not they ban your account. Since it's been awhile that the 262 was preordered your account may have been banned. Your best bet is to send them an email asap and good luck.     Correct me if I'm wrong... but iirc I saw a post somewhere stating that NY might be out of the office until the 7th (or 6th)? If it's actually the 7th then their pre-orders for the VF-31F will be delayed a day (or some hrs)?

    As mentioned earlier here are the pics of the two physical cosmetic issues with my VF-31J. After getting to Batt mode I realized mine also has the loose telescoping right ankle issue as well. The sensor appears to have a small hairline crack going towards the center of it. The gouge/dent on the mounting bracket is pretty apparent. Not sure what the assembly worker was doing or used to cause it.

    ^Yup! Seems like Bandai has a frequency of lemons in their batches or I'm just having bad luck. I guess I'll know for sure when I get my 2nd from CDJ via SAL sometime mid/late Jan lol.

    I received mine from Amiami right before the holiday. I didn't have the chance to take it out and inspect/swoosh it around, but mine had two physical cosmetic QC issues. The left sensor on the forward fuselage looked like it was over cut at the injection point (before being painted/assembled) and the outer most mount bracket on the left wing looked like it something was jammed or gouged it. I'll try to take some pics after I change it back from batt to fighter mode. Yea I don't think I want to bother with Amiami's customer service cause iirc it's either nill or full refund with hassles.

    I'm guessing HLJ might have someone double checking orders before they go out. I've had missing items from them in the past which they reshipped at their expense. One time it was a PG Unicorn and I know that's not cheap to ship via EMS/Fedex. Plus 10% off my next order.

    Yea iirc, hlj did not include preordered items last year. I think they learned from their mistakes with the arcadia yf-19 (two yrs ago). Who knows maybe they'll forget like they did two yrs ago, lol.

    Iirc hlj didn't include preorders on their black friday sale list last year. I believe they started doing that because of what happened the previous year with the arcadia YF-19. But who knows maybe they'll drop the ball this year again, lol.

    I agree that the Arcadia one feels way less stressful when transforming. Another area aside from the wing tab that was extremely stressful was transforming the Bandai back into fighter mode. I was constantly thinking about the beige chest flaps (if I flipped them out of the way or not) and I struggled so much the first few times to get the leg tabs into the upper chest slot that I left the Bandai one mid transformation for a few days (on two of the three that I have). I felt that I was 'that' close to breaking them trying to get everything in the leg section to line up for fighter mode.

    I haven't voted and I own three of each. I'm not going to vote because there are things I like and hate about both. 'Brief' (not a full list) examples will be posted below. I just feel that voting one over the other isn't exactly justifiable because they weren't released 'around the same time'. According to HLJ Bandai released theirs about one year and three months after Arcadia. I just think that gives Bandai (a very large company with maybe unlimited resources) a very large edge and with more time to improve over Arcadia's version. Likes: Arcadia bit the bullet and attempted to improve the YF-19 over its predecessor (the Yamato YF-19) before Bandai. I don't think anyone expected a VF-19/YF-19 variant until Bandai announced it. Bandai put more engineering behind the VF-19... more than any other company did Dislikes/hates: Arcadia's use of the ball joints for the ankles Bandai's horrible... I mean horrible QC to no extent. It completely throws any of their collectible value out the window when you have to worry about exploding, broken, mismatched, missing parts. This is the reason I open all my Bandai products as soon as receiving them to ensure they're not defective out of the box. All three of my VF-19 Advances have small blemishes (embedded in the plastic) all over the valks, one had a gouged edge on a foot, another had nicks in the plastic on the arm, all three have over cut marks on the rear landing bay doors and there are more things I can probably complain about.

    Same here. I like that Bandai actually updated the pilot to reflect the character, but still isn't enough justification to get another VF-29 (aside from the color scheme and isamu's rifle). If they bundled it with the fast pack set then I would've picked it up.

    I think the head lasers look just about the same length when Yamato made the VF-0S.
