uh...resin casts of the qrau is expensive because there's probably like 500 of them made...and they're not machined but hand carved and hand casted(correct me if I'm wrong). The yamato qrau is computer designed(mouse click here n there), mass produced(at least in the thousands), and is made of plastic(do you knwo how cheap plastic is?). yah we all have our opinions...and you can buy whatever you want with your money. But I'm with DrClay here...this thing is not worth the price it's being offered at. and what details are you guys talking about? I see a few panel lines, some thrusters, a couple missles...and that's about it. compared to the detail of the 1/48...the qrau looks like a toynami MPC(ok not that bad....

uh, yah that's called price gouging...and if you like being taken advantage of...well then, I don't need to tell you about my bridge that's for sell. it's like there's no other toy out there like it, or it's rare...so they can charge more for it??...just like scalpers...damn i hate scalpers...yamato better get on the ball cuz i'm beginning to feel the same way about them...macross toys or not.

wow, you guys must be rich gettin ready to pay for a hunk of plastic that's not even transformable. designed with CAD or not...I don't find the price of this thing is justified. The Miria figure is not poseable(what's the point of having it removable?), problems with stressing, no diecast, parts swapping, flawed desgin(non-DYRL cockpit), and the price are giving me a real diffiult time to find money for this thing. $120? I'd rather buy myself another MPC Convoy. For retail, I think it's a rip off...do I want one, yes...but only if price comes down to about $65-$70. but thanks for the review Graham. I know you want to stay on Yamato's good side, but I really think they're taking advantage of the fans on this one. $120...pshh...

uh, my excuse is I'm half blind, half deaf, and half can't read too good. whatever the case...I better start saving up if I'm to these figs...oh man...I can't wait. might even have to get rid of my bandai/yamato valks to display these.

then all I can say is don't attempt such a foolhardy scheme. I've got a few of the banprestos and what really sucked about them was the fact the pieces fell apart so easily, so if you can fix that and make it look bettr on top of that I say go for it!! remember to post pics.

if it's like that and majority of the height difference is in the detachable feet, then doesn't seiya get an extra height boost buy wearing the sagitarius clothes? damn it's like me when I wear my dress shoes...extra inch and a half height boost! hehe.

yah, they are slightly different than the regular fast packs not only in color(well mostly color) but the arm armor is different!!! for that alone you have to buy it. hehe, ok maybe not but it still looks cool!

what graham said. what I usually buy now is whatever I know I won't want to sell later. why buy it if you're not going to want it later...not speaking of my SW stuff of course...damn I wasted a lot of money on that crap. =P and also what southcross said, if you decide to sell and he passes, give me a PM

sorry to cause you more work. I mean just take ur time with it...doesn't have to be done overnight.

try painting the parts silver with testors enamel silver(hand painted works better i think). and then mix a bit of tamiya clear orange and clear yellow and paint over that(airbrush is better, hand paint is possible but may get unevenness). let the silver dry first before applying the clears.

can I add a suggestion for the customs page? don't let it load all the pictures when you click on "1/48 customs" like it does now. make it so it only loads one thumbnail and you click on that to make the rest of the pictures for that particular custom come up. can you imagine trying to view this on dial-up...

yah...bastards...well, I still keep workin on my set anyway...wanted to get finished with at least the gun hand this week but stupid magicsculpt isn't drying... KingNor: I don't know who else would be interested in that. sculpting the pieces takes time, especially if you're going to do it from scratch. and if there isn't much interest in those, then I don't think it's worth it for rhoby to be doing it.
