Sadly, I am pretty strong when it comes to things non Macross, or non Star wars. I've wanted a viper Mark II since i was a child, so this is hitting me right up in the my glass chin. I'm very conflicted right now.

Yup, I visited BBTS too... I think I'll have to wait. I just want one, the Original Mark II Viper, top left of the picture above. 

i managed to get this acrylic display case for my Swordfish II, but it seems a tad big now, I knew the height would be a problem, but it was wide and long enough for the exotic bird to be our the dust world.I hate dusting this with all those sharp articulated surfaces.

Maybe i should put something else in there? Or get a riser or....

I like how they toned down the colors in general. I've been waiting for a long time to get the Rebels, but Zeb was missing. i wonder if the Rebels show is really popular at Disney+ right now. This is really unexpected. I wonder if they will ever release  Ghost, and the complete crew in the Vintage collection. It will prob be too small, but if they release the crew as well, it would be awesome. I say the same for the Razor's crest. If they make these ships in a similar size of the Legacy Millennium Falcon, I would prob be all over that.

Ha,funny, the initial intention was Spartan having a bat over his shoulder and having the hand position say, "bring it on".

I do see how the second light setting may look like a horror story though.

I am surprised no one have mentioned the tiny Banpresto in the picture. This is how i envisioned the size of the valks, when i first watched Robotech in the 80's. Yes, that's how i learned about Macross. Later on i realized the destroyers were actually a bit smaller than the valks. That poor Banpresto is a flimsy in all the weird areas, and that backpack was designed by Satan himself, but they were close to something good. That's why i like the HMR line, as the valks feel like a reduced 1/48 or 1/60 with clever engineering. 

Also, handling that Spartan is always a fun experience. Those cold metal feet, and how solid the mech feels, is just awesome. I never liked the Spartan much, but i am so glad i got it. It's like they say, don't knock it until you try it.

Masking tape is your friend. The Tamiya tape is excellent. Don't use standard masking tape.

It was really early the morning, and it looked much better in person.

Insurance have twice saved me from badly damaged packages resulting in item breakage. The buyer sent me pictures, and i forwarded them to USPS and FEDEx respectively. I got my payment without problems.

I am sorry to hear this has not worked for others.

I keep talking myself out of the vf-2s and vf-4s and I like to focus on the TV versions over the DYRL schemes. Doesn't mean I won't break down eventually just to be a completist if the price is too tempting.

Same here, i only wanted one valk for size reference with the rest of the unique enemy and friendly mecha...

Special thanks to all those who contributed to this collection. Through good times and bad times, it slowly grew with the help of the Macrossworld community.

I don't have a single 1S in my entire HMR collection. Also, I wish i had one of those Roy VF-4 and the blue VF-2SS.

It is what it is, i missed on No3l's HM 1S he was selling, but maybe ill get lucky in the future.

Thanks @sh9000, it is one of my most intricate skies. I may use it as a background for another project. I am now drawing Hikaru sitting on his VF-1J's chest, while in bot mode. It is a vertical perspective. I might show it on the art tread later on.
