WOW! the chubby forearm looks great now but how will you solve the clearing of it for fighter mode? the gunpod will hang very low. Too bad the hands didn't work, brilliant what you did. Are those 1/100 hobby base hands? From previews experience, the parts that will get the most friction during transformation that chip clear coat or paint are, the outer shoulders, medial forearms (they rub when you tuck them into fighter mode), the inner shoulders with the outer shoulder, the forward swivel point between the intake and thigh for gerwalk, the inner canopy shields rubs with the canopy, and elbow with the forearm clearance.

OMG, I never realized how flat the v1 YF-19 face was. Compared to the new CAD, the v1 face reminds me of the squash v1 VF-1S head. Looks like fuselage and wings area are beefier, perhaps to compensate for the beefier legs and keep a sleek appearance. Brilliant.

From what I can see, there will be very little painting required like the usual Bandai snap on kits, so it could handle some transformation. So some people will enjoy this feature. I think the only pose that looks good is the salute pose with the feet hanging. Hikaru comes with Minmey!, maybe Roy will come with Claudia and Max with Millia, If they make Kakizaki will it come with a steak?

I find the VF-0 fighter and gerwalk mode very accurate, it's battroid and the overall foppliness that ruins it.

All I see are pixels kidding. Glad to see Arcadia is more enthusiastic on this little teasers than Yamato that was all hush hush.

LOL, I remember when I saw the intro of Macross 7 for the fist time... "hmm...catchy intro music...interesting clamshell space fortress....alright F-117 valk!!...hell yeah, red YF-19.......waait....wait....is that a face?.... wait wait....if he flying with a guitar.... seriously a FACE....GUITAR CONTROLS...oh God, what have they done?". I've always missed the antennas on the VF-1, how did you do it?

I did a quicky bad shop of the original image. The back swept wings are animated in Macross Plus for a few miliseconds when Isamu is dogfighting Guld in the city at high speed blowing out the buildings windows. I guess Kawamori added that feature to the YF-19 to correlate the YF-21 high speed mod where it fold it's wing down, curiously like a turkey also, LOL. YF-19 and VF-19A are identical. VF-19S/Fare sorta chubbier with an extended main fuselage making the forward swept wings look shorter. VF-19 Kai is an atrocity.

I refuse to pay more than 200 for a VF-1 even if it has not been opened or a rare valk no matter how much I want it. I was toying and wooshing my 11B yesterday and the transformation is so simple and smooth, clearly one of Yamato's best works. They could reissue the 11B/C with "option parts" like a heatshiled that clips in the middle of the forearm (as seen in the VF-19S/F/P) with extra gunpod magazines and dare I say atmospheric boosters for the B.
