Don't go to ebay, best and cheapest place to get the Kai is HKC, it's so cheap I once consider buying the Kai to get my macross fix....shruggggs

Gorgeous bird! Would be a shame to not milk the mold, the double nuts were not to popular. Yamato only did repaint of the black 15thanniversay and double nuts. I'd be happy with a VF-1A ravens repaint. And you have to get 3 of those to make the squadron Or if their Hasegawa partnership continues, they could do this beauty and it already has the missile loadout to accompany.

It's not smart for Arcadia to say they will continue everything Yamato-Macross related to prevent people not purchasing their current releases in expectation of a future announced one. If they would go and announce the 1J M&M noone will care about the Hikaru or Roy because they will save up for them instead and wait for the 1S to go on sale. Which is what happened to Yamato. I think the only released that was 100% profit as the VF-4G

LOL! Considering that scalpers are selling non-30th VF-1S Hikaru for 200, the 30th for 250+ and bundled with Super parts for 300+, I can live with Arcadia's mark up. Besides, I've been begging for waterslide decals since I came back to the hobby.

I know I was referring to how sharp the tricolor lines were. Go look at your Yammies, the tampo is not as sharp as they look for the 30th, unless the pics are very forgiving.

Got to say, the tampo is impressive, hope every future Macross release comes with that quality tampo. The little marked tab looks like it could scratch the tampo with each transformation.

Where could I buy the volumes of Macross the First?? that's no ebay. There are only 5 volumes right?

I wonder if Arcadia has somehow improved the assembly production and QC...
