I hated most of Macross 7 music, specially that planet dance that he always sang and that power to the music song whatever...altought, i do agree, Mylenes songs were more melodic and easier on the ear than Basara's senseless yelling

you bet ya', that thing just begs to be paneled lined, and I didn't bother on fixing the seam lines on the intakes, and there's a little paint smudge on the right intake, but the seam line and smudge will be covered by armor so it's all good!

soooooooooooo...that's the infamous beauty mark on the 1S everyone hated so much... my god that thing is nasty, hahaha, people also hate the seam line running across the middle of the 1S head, but according to Yamato (I read somewhere a long time ago, don't remember), this is DYRL correct altought, I don't see that seam line on my avatar

VF-1S 1/60 Roy Strike Valkyrie, my very first macross toy, and I just love how it looks, the bubble canopy on the 1/48 is a bit dodgy

I voted for the 1/48 VF-1, I just got a super stealth and that thing is perfect, no floppiness, no crooked gunpod, perfect transformation, extra clown hands, removable panels, extra missiles and pods, that thing just has everything... I would say the VF-0 close second, I can feel it looking great even when I'm not looking at it... YF-19, crooked gunpod ruins it for me, I don't know how many years making it perfect and they can't get a gunpod to stay still in a $160+ toy, c'mon!

I remember when I started seeing that episode and noticed it was too centered in Physica I was like... oh boy, he's gonna die, hehehehe oh yes, I would have also liked for Macross 7 to resolved the whole Milia and Max marriage, I really wanted them to get over their jobs and get back togueter

if you ignore the whole Basara stupid singing crap and devil looking elf, Macross 7 plot is actually very good, compared to Macross II horrible plot that's just a wear adaptation of DYRL I always thought, that if Basara were a hot chick, the Protodevlin were better designed enemies, less recycled footage and had less episodes, the series could stand up to the original

I thought Gamlin was sort of hallucinating/daydreaming the whole physica's wife thingy since he was so devastaded of all that was happening? althought I think the love triangle between Basara, Gamlin and Mylene was silly and unresolved, it makes sense when you point out their ages, Basara only cares about himself and his music, Gamlin wants Mylene and Mylene is just to young to fully understand love, so, they just had to leave it like that... she's too young to be able to choose wisely then again, there is the whole thing: 'how could a 14 year old girl be capable of piloting advanced valkyries in space battles without complete military training and not get killed thing?' EDIT: terrible spelling

I paneled line mine, there isn't much to panel line, compared to the VF-0S, the YF-19 is very sleek... but the limited panel lining does make it look better, the fins aren't THAT small, but I think the front canards could be a tad smaller to be proportional to the tail fin, I guess that's why they look a bit weird...but all in all, a wonderfully great toy...errr...I mean collectible
