hahaha...yes Basara + VF-1 = Fail, indeed, and after getting blown up and thrown out to the void of space without any kind of spacesuit or flightsuit, the elf chick piloting the vf-5000 just happens to have red lifesaving putty loaded into her gunpod and shoots basara to safety...I'm still wondering how he didn't suffocate to death...a few seconds thrown out suddenly in space should brust your lungs out...and I doubt that red putty had some oxigen supply...hahahahhaha

didn't anyone think it was incredibly stupid in Macross 7, the episode were they are making tribute to Minmay and Hikaru with a sorta movie of their own of DYRL, and they dress up Basara like Hikaru and Mylene like Minmay, but they just put some old FAST packs on Basara ugly VF-19 kai??? I mean, it's 2040whatever... and they can't built a prop VF-1 for a movie????? I was really bothered by this

hmmm...I'm not a big fan of this Robotech movie for only two reason, people are gonna think Robotech is the true thing and the original Macross as some sort of rip-off...and if this thing turns out to be crap, people are gonna look at me funny for my macross collection! HAHAHA kidding anyway! who knows, here's me being highly optimistic, they could keep the idea of alien spaceship crashing on earth, transforming plane, and giant space aliens, and will those 3 aspect, actually develop a complente non-macross related story that could be good war story....but I highly doubted... of course, if they gave me 2+ hours of Megan Fox parading in tight jeans around an ugly ass VF-1, you won't see me complaining
