  1. considering the short bridge shot during the galaxy's call for help the galaxy bridge may be more submerine like and be rather dark with nothing but TV monitors. ( like BG's bridge)
  2. I would love to see that.
  3. really have mixed fealings about this one. Iactualy think the batroid looks good, I like the detail and perportions. but I'm a bit iffy about the fighter mode. just seems to lack details, too toy like. on the bright side at least it'll be nice, sturdy, and toy that can actualy be played with. looks like I'm going to end up getting the model kits for good detailed models
  4. I just want to ask because I've been avoiding the takbacks for spoilers; do we have any info on HOW/WHY sheryl's parents are dead and she was infected?
  5. and can you remember the all the designations they gave to each destroid off the top of your head? I can't but I remember all the VF designations. YF-21 frankly has a better ring to it then YVF-21 (IMO) and sounds more concurent to real world aircraft designations (like YF-22 and YF-23) also YF-21 sticks with you better than say, SDR-04 Mk XII.
  6. a PG in 1/48-1/32 scale would be awsome. so is the canopy in http://gamu-toys.info/gangu/pura/r3/mf01/mf01.html painted, or is it really that blue? the tint looks awful on that one.
  7. Because having three letters doesn't sound as good as two Technically they should be YVF if they were to accurately fallow the tri-service designation system. Then again if they were to actually fallow that designation system correctly, then it should be YFV and all valks would actually be FV-X's since the V indicates vehicle type (other than fixed wing) which should come last. Proper letter order goes status prefix (Y, X, N etc.); basic mission (A, F, B etc.); and finally vehicle type (H, V, Q). also there's the tendency to skip series letters (the letter after the number) like going from A to d then to J then to S
  8. Not really, if you look REALLY closely at the Vf-27 and how it transforms it's actually identical to the VF-25, which in turn is actually more like the YF/VF-19's transformation The similarities between the VF-27 and the SV-51 are all purely cosmetic. The three toed feet, the funky canards, and how the torso and winds look in batroid mode look similar, but they don't transform in anywhere near the same way. OOU its Sk reusing the elements that he currently likes putting on 'evil' mechs. in universe, it's probably a case of two designers in two different times independently coming up with the same solutions to similar design problems. (It happens in the real world.)
  9. very cool talos, so does the AB VF-4 still look like a school girl uniform in Batroid mode?
  10. WHAT THE DEUCE?!?!? so does this mean the Battle Galaxy transforms, or that there's actualy a battle galaxy at all? I've alway's wondered how exactly the Galaxy as a ship was set up. is the Barney looking ship we've seen so far the whole galaxy (battle and civilian sections) or is it just the battle portion. also if it is the island section, where do people live, in the green disk things?
  11. huh? to make line art? to color with? I cant think of anything that's good AND free. MS paint is the last thing to use. for making line art you really need Adobe Illustrator or CorelDraw. anything less really won't yield good results. also you can make line art in Photoshop, but it's tedious as hell and not as good, I just do it because I suck at Illustrator.
  12. again I really wish I had a better grasp of things like physics.
  13. screw that, she's dead! (damnit stop killing off the characters I like. kill luca or leon, hell kill brera. leave sheryl alown though man )
  14. if only.... this sucks waiting for subs...
  15. well, we did try to put a nuclear reactor on a bomber. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aircraft_Nuclear_Propulsion short version is you can suck air into an engine, and superheat it with a nuclear reactor and shoot it out the back. but it didn't work because if you had proper radiation containment and shielding the plane would be to heavy to fly; and if you don't then the crew gets irradiated, and you end up turning the planes flight path into a fallout zone without ever dropping a bomb.
  16. so they were expecting altos flying style.
  17. how's it hypocritical, we want official subs and to have actual DVD's but we would like to know what is going on in the last two episodes without haveing to wait a year.
  18. well, the EX-Gear IS the seat (it's like a valk, but rather than a robot that turns into a jet, it's a robot that turns into a chair), and I think they just leave the EX-Gear in the plane unless the pilot ejects with it. edit: as for the G compansation thing, to quote the compendium (from the VF-15 entry): the pilots survive high G's through systems that temporarily make the body more resilient to G loads up to a point. beyond that you still die. I think in some way's it works like energy conversion armor, except on your flesh and bones.
  19. not to be a buzzkill, but I'm going to call BS on this until we get a more official source. looks way to much like a tweeked 1/72 to me.
  20. found it. http://macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?show...=VF-5&st=0 I forgot how old this thread was.
  21. the most recent version is the gray unpainted VF-25F
  22. sadly we'll be waiting until the VF-11 toy's unveiled.
