I finally noticed the cloth over the joints this past weekend. The fuzziness does look kinda weird.

I have never owned anything from the Brave line but this definitely has me interested in how the Brave Patlabor Ingram turns out. Our shipment of Ingram 1/2 will arrive later in the week, so I will finally get a look at CMS quality.

I finally bought this DVD last weekend. I watched as soon as I got home and I can say objectively the story is pretty good. Everything seems to flow well but towards the end I realized that Admiral Hunter, along with the Protoculture Matrix, was not going to appear again. My biggest complaint as a fan was that the animation seemed out of place. At times I felt like it was something that came out close to Street Fighter II - The Animated Movie. Which is fine but considering that the movie has so much CGI, it seemed like an awkard match at times. If you were expecting something on the level of Macross Zero, you will be disappointed. And finally the boobs...not sure everyone woman and android has to have huge knockers but they do. Someone get a screen shot of Sterling and Marcus standing together at the end...it pretty ridiculous how big her boobs are. The way Hasbro is churning out SW vehicles I sure hope we are able to get some of the SW fans interested! I saw a preview of the FlexiDisplay Stand by Rebelscum the other day...wait until you see the Republic Gunship picture using all 3 stands, it is freaking' awesome!

Glad I could help start an addiction! The VF-1S Hikaru is a very good choice for someone new to the 1/48 scale. I never owned one of the VF-1 1/60s, but if the 1/60s are a step backwards from the 1/48s I don't think I ever will.

I didn't forget about you guys! It doesn't look like we will be able to do Stands Ala Catre for the Xmas Holiday, next month we are going to be very busy. Instead we have lowered the price on stands by $4 for Xmas. Stands Ala Carte will happen next year.

I have never seen a round base stand in person, only in pictures. So I am not sure if we need to make the base bigger or use different nubs. Hopefully whatever the fix is, it is afforadable. The price of manufacturing stands has doubled since the old owner was in business!

The old owner and I have talked about bringing back the round bases, but like mentioned above the round base is not as stable as the square base. That is something that is on our plate for next year since we have to redesign the round base. Stands Ala Carte we heavily considering. We are also reviewing the possiblity of selling individual parts too. Both ideas were discussed for next year, but perhaps we can do a small run of Stands Ala Carte for the Holiday season. I'll look into that next week. Clear Silicone end caps? Good idea, I'll check into it.

I finally got home around midnight last night. It was nice meeting everyone and thanks again for eating dinner with me on Sunday. I spent most of Monday morning shipping evything back to Texas. Toynk and another retailer at the Con already had 1/100 Toynami VF-1's for sale. I grabbed two Fockers for Dan to sign. I'll post a pic of them later in the week.

I got to do the meet and greet with suppliers, but that should not take up most of my day. I will be at Maloney's Tavern Friday night for the Entertainment Earth party. I haven't had a chance to look at the schedule yet...I'll do that this weekend. Bobe-Patt already has my number. Is anyone else staying downtown?

I will be standing in line to pick up my badge close to 10 am on Friday morning. Since I have never been to Comic Con, I have no input on where to meet. Other than picking up a few exclusives and talking to some suppliers, my schedule is pretty flexible. If anyone wants my number, hit me with a PM.

Mission Valley is a better option especially because of the trolley. Looks like I might be staying at the Holiday Inn National City. It doesn't look to far from SDCC on the map...should I stay there or look more in Old Town?
