  1. Is the exclusive usually more expensive than the original release? I assume so. IMHO the 1/48 CF would have been perfect IF they would have color-matched the paint on the legs with the plastic they used. *sigh* I think I'm just too damn picky.
  2. Which is considered the most show accurate? The original release or the TRU-only release? CF = love, and I want to have one 1/60 to put next to my VF-0 when I get one.
  3. All 5 parts you mean? That's all there is, right? I thought it was only an OVA. Those screencaps are my own.
  4. Yes, the SV-51 is very menacing. I just watched Macross Zero for the first time yesterday, and I'm already dead set on purchasing at least one SV-51 and one VF-0. I just have to decide which. Going to wait to see if the VF-0 shoulder problems are fixed, and I'm DEFINITELY skipping the first issue of the SV-51 just in case. I'm going to have a blast posing my SV-51 like Ivanov's in that pic. :)
  5. Yep. It's a pretty clear shot from the second episode. She kicks the gunpod out of hand of the crashed VF-0 that Shin hops in. The scene is about 6 minutes in. EDIT: with pics And Ivanov... technically not standing. Oh, and the CF SV-51. I don't know which I like best.
  6. I had a couple Robotech Destroids. I melted them in our fire pit.
  7. WHAT?! I just watched M:Zero and I happened to like the look of the mecha!
  8. I want to say no, but I'm not positive. I've never seen a pave low that looks like that. Then again I'm landlocked so all I see are Blackhawks. Still, in the trailer he looks like a darker grey, and in the concept art he's black. I hope they change it. If you look on the test shot, the hands appear to be unpainted as well.
  9. I hope those aren't Blackout's final colors. Either way, definite buy for me!
  10. An Enigma VF-1 would be MINE!
  11. Only his arms though. Maybe his head. His neck seems rather flimsy. Either way, I have nightmares of my shelf with my Yammies and Optimus tipping over. I can see Optimus surviving relatively unscathed, but I think my CF would be just that... (don't have my super stealth yet)
  12. Well. I just finished watching Macross Zero. The animation was great... but seriously WTF? When I saw the beginning I thought "oh sweet we'll get to see the SDF in some shape or form...". Damnit.
  13. Sorry but I disagree completely. The VF-1 is the iconic Macross (and Robotech) mecha. Get as many as you can.
  14. If MP Convoy fell it would tear a hole in the floor and/or chip the cement in the basement.
  15. Yeah, I'm thinking that the one with Megatron is the newer/revised prototype. Either that or they are different price ranges.
  16. How do you mean? The shuttle orbits below the lowest Van Allen belt. EDIT: The article contradicts itself. It says "The Earth's atmosphere limits the belts' particles to regions above 200-1000 km." It then goes on to say "The inner Van Allen Belt extends from an altitude of 700–10 000 km (0.1 to 1.5 Earth radii) above the Earths surface." Unless I'm completely missing something... there must be a different belt of radiation below the inner Van Allen belt?
  17. Sweet Christ... http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/showthread.php?t=120304 http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/showthread.php?t=120299
  18. Errr, do you have any proof to that or is that just a huge assumption???
  19. Beautiful work. Amazing really. Where does the Enigma scheme come from?
  20. Oh these are probably out of my price range. Watch the sale forum in the future! Anyone have some more detailed pictures of Series 2?
  21. Yeah, but Starscream does not equal Blackout. He looks fairly complicated. Ultimate Bumblebee is one of the few toys that'll be really expensive. Along with that Optimus voice changer.
  22. I don't think that the shuttle passes through the Van Allen belts. Those are further out. The shuttle stays relatively close. The inner belt extends from 700-10000 km above the Earth's surface. The shuttle orbits (from what I've read) at distances that are all below 700 km. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Van_Allen_radiation_belt http://hypertextbook.com/facts/2000/AndresMok.shtml The lack of newer equipment is a result of poor funding like KingNor said. It's kind of sad that the shuttles are being retired. And that two of them are gone. Each had its own character. Hopefully I can tour one in a museum someday.
  23. Well, I broke down and ordered Series 2. With Yamato giving us a big "maybe" on the reissue of the 1J Max and Milia, I didn't have a choice. We'll see if I regret this or not. Oh well, I ended up having $800 extra from school loans this semester. Time to treat myself. This and the 1/48 Stealth will hopefully whet my appetite.
  24. Planning on med school, so yes. But that is a few years down the road. I have no doubt that I can get in, but I wish I could get it over with now.
  25. In my eyes, the Russians only made ONE huge mistake throughout their entire manned space program: the N-1 rocket. Don't even get me started...
