http://www.rebelscum.com/Slave-I-The-Vintage-Collection-Amazon-Star-Wars.asp Not at all up to scale, even for 3.75" figures. But bigger than the old Kenner one and looks like you can squeeze three figures into the cockpit area. EDIT: Seven years later, and they more than doubled the original price.

Caught up on Season 5 of The Expanse released so far. Yeah, this will be a different experience than binging through a whole season's worth of shows. Will feel like I'm in the Slow Zone with the speed limit kicked in. Also, thanks for the warning @sqidd. Didn't upset me too much, since this has been how the show operates for awhile now.

I was actually referring to Boba flying around in Slave I. His flying away makes the subterfuge a little more convincing. But if he came back a little later, he could have picked off some huge obstacles. But in the process of doing that, he and Slave I would have took some shine off of that later “moment.” Yeah, plot contrivance. But semi-reasonable excuses can be made. <Typing off the phone, so trying to not get too spoilery.>- 1438 replies

@jvmacrossHe delegated that work to Fennec. Besides, having him loiter around or come back would defeat one of the big reveals. He would’ve been like an A-10 Warthog loitering and picking off well armed ground soldiers.- 1438 replies

So, reclaiming Mandalore? Would that mean involving Clan Wren? But you would assume Sabine eventually joins up with Ahsoka. So, does that mean Sabine comes back to help her clan or goes off to search for Ezra? Again, I think Disney spread themselves too thin. And you gotta wonder what they’ll do with their cash cow off at training. Time skip for Season 3?- 1438 replies

I’d like a red closer to the shade on that sign in the front. But as long as it ain’t that hot pink, we’ll be good. Any word if Sentinel is still on schedule to release the Zeta this January?

So after re-watching the last episode, there's one thing I just noticed: When Rex is trying to negotiate/stall the clones in the hangar, Jesse straight up refers to the soon-to-be Emperor as "Darth Sidious." Not Palpatine. Not Chancellor. Straight up calls him by his Sith name. Even Rex, when Order 66 is given in the previous episode, refers to him as "Lord Sidious." Wonder why Filoni and company made that choice? In ROTS, Cody and the clones don't refer to him as Sidious during Order 66; they just refer to him as "Lord." In any case, that's some royally messed up programming (or impressive planning ) to turn the clones against the Jedi, make them aware that Palpatine is a Sith Lord, and make them cool with following a Sith Lord (especially after battling Dooku and other dark siders the past few years).

I didn't put her up this year. But in years past, this "tough little ship" has found a spot on the tree: Love that the rear dorsal lights blink too. -
Considering how so few Rebel pilots survived the first Death Star, I thought the story was that no one had the stones to ask why Wedge had two Death Star killmarks on his X-Wing.

They were doing it to demonstrate it to the audience. It’s one thing for him to say he’ll do anything to save the kid; it’s quite another for him to take off his helmet, just for the chance to save him. My elementary age son even gasped when Mando did that. People have done stupid, risky things for love. Like some Jedi Knight lopping off Younglings on the off-chance he could find a way to prevent his pregnant wife’s death.- 1438 replies

Is that Fennec Shand at the 0:41 mark? Curious what their Order 66 moment will be. But they were overstaying their welcome around the third or fourth Clone Wars ep. Wonder if they kept the Amidala nosecone art on their ship.

Can anyone fill me in on the old EU history of the Rogue Squadron? I’m not as well versed in that aspect. Always thought they were the aces of the Rebellion. So when I hear about pilots “earning their wings” in a squad that had Luke and Wedge “I Have TWO Death Star Killmarks on My Ride” Antilles, it kinda kills the mystique of the Rogues.

If it doesn’t come back to bite him later down the line, you can all have an “I told you so.” But bottom line: Mando essentially decided “The Way” is less important than saving the kid. He picked love over some rigid code. Worked out for some kid named Luke and his pops.- 1438 replies
