You're right. They're all missing their trims and insignias/emblems. I also spotted what might be super parts attached next to both sides of the rudder.

I was convinced January would be the month for the Glaug pre-order, but since we have so many photos of the toys and special episode airing soon, I wonder if this one would open earlier. It actually makes a lot more sense to open pre-orders when the actual show starts.

Your proxy managed to grab one of those lottery reissues? How did he manage it? I'd like to be prepared in case they do the same in the future.

I was keeping an eye of them since they announced the VF-171EX Armored Parts and a few other add-ons as well but the prices remained the same; inflated. No idea if they eventually sold them slightly cheaper during one of their sales. Even if they did get those reissues, I don't think they were interested in offering them at close-to-retail prices.

None whatsoever. No Macross Tamashii exclusives have been reissued. Ever. Maybe if they do a Hi-Metal R R.

I wouldn't count on that. When NY had the Metal Build Heine Custom up for pre-order, I sent them a message asking if they can guarantee stock since the item was popular and they said yes. I paid for it upfront only to get a message 2 weeks later claiming they couldn't get stock. They refunded my money but I was also out of options as the other stores had sold out. What I'm saying is, NY might not be very reliable for popular items and considering how they don't fulfill orders based on a first-come, first-served basis, no one should be surprised if you don't get the limited edition stand for the VF-1S Roy despite ordering early.

I did ask NY about the pay later option for Macross toys when they discontinued that option for other Tamashii items but they told me they don't require upfront payment for them. I assumed that was because of the popularity of Macross toys on their site but I guess they did get tired of cancellations. That being said, it would've been better if they just asked up to pay for it upfront back when they opened the pre-orders instead of entrapping us a month later because that's exactly how I feel since I sent them a message about the pay later option before I placed my order. So the lesson here is, all Tamashii items will be 'pay now' and I'm ok with it as long as they state it clearly before I place an order. I'm still gonna pay NY early though.

NY must be running out of money. I got the same e-mail too. 1 week to pay for an item 4 months away, and I bet they won't even take responsibility if they fail to get the limited edition stands.

In case you decide to slap on the armored parts. It was probably easier to make them all using 1 mold.

An extra year to allow the VF-0S to yellow so you have no choice but to buy the armour to cover it up.
