I blame Singer for Halles lackluster performance. I don't think he really gave her much to work with and, he didn't really help her to grasp the character. If they didn't cut out her backstory she might have given a better depiction of the character in the 1st film. But Angela would've rocked as the Goddess. If Iman wasn't so old she would've been the perfect Storm. She's statuesque, has an accent, has some acting experience, gorgeous as hell, looks like Storm and could come across as a take no crap person. What all fims has Ratner done? I can't remember any of his films off the top of my head. If you guys are fans of the X-men Legends game the sequel is on schedule to come out this fall. I'm not that disappointed that Vaughn has left, I heard some troubling comments that he made about filming X3 so I think his deciding to not do the flim is a good think. But Having only 2 month's to find a Director is a tough feat. Hopefully they'll find someone competent. Whedon would be a logical choice, but I've heard rumors that he's had a tough time meeting the comics deadlines so I don't know how well he'd do filming a major film with lots of egos.

I just Got back from this Movie and it was so bad on so many levels I can't that I paid $8 for this crap. Please excuse my rambling its 5: a.m. So where to start? Dialogue Terrible, Way too much CGI/ special effects for the soulless purpose of showing What can be done with Cpu's (I knew this going in though), Action scenes with no emotion or depth, Acting horrendous ( only exceptions were Obi One and Palpatine). All of the Lightsaber Duels were pretty generic to outright bland, nothing really stood out in any of them. The best one was b/ Palps and Yoda. I think this movie suffered with a oversaturation of visuals. Too much going on in the background and foreground. Lucas spent way too much time on scenes with little to no consequence. I think the acting could have been better if the actors were given direction from a director. So I can't blame Portman or any other actors because it is the directors job to get anything resembling acting from them. BTW has anyone else seen this movie using a digital projector? I'm kinda curious wheter or not if there is much of a discernable difference in picture quality.

This is great news. I doubt that it will be a TV version, but I wonder what color of uniform the pilot will come with? I bet the pilot will be draped in green or blue.

Cyclops is essential for any telling of the Dark Phoenix saga period. I felt that Storm and Cyclops both terribly suffered in the 1st to films from lack of development. They should've been given more scenes to flesh the characters out. That's the directors fault, not the actors. I bet alot of their developmental scenes ended up on the cutting rooms floor. The great thing about any X-men sequel is that it's very easy to explain away actors that don't reprise their characters in subsequent sequels. There away on some mission doing X. There are a ton of other characters in the pool to draw from.

Colossus has been around since his debut in Giant Size X-men in 1975. Claremont wasn't on the book at the time and Stan had long since stopped writing on the book. I've heard that they filmakers might not tell the Dark Phoenix in X3. They might set it up for a possible X4.

Jim Lee is currently pencilling Superman for those that didn't know. It has been a good run IMO, but I'm biased b/c I've always loved his work. Marvel added him to their legends lineup. This collects some roughly 8 various issues he penciled during his run on Uncanny X-men.

Thats a good question Legato to which there is no logical answer. Marvel Hired him about a yr ago to do work on a x-force or cable and Deadpool book. McFarlane hates his guts from what I've heard.

I loved KOTOR and when I heard that Bioware was making this game I had to inquire about it. BTW what are some of the styles one can choose from? Is there Drunken style or any animal forms, such as monkey or snake fist?

yeah, cause we americans are the only people obsessed with sports. how about canadians with hockey. japanese and cubans with baseball. and almost everyone else in the world with soccer. As far as I know, we take it to a more extreme level than most other nations. Your joking right? North Americans don't hold a candle to the way other countries obsess over their sports. I think some of the lunacy is attributed to alcohol, unsafe stadium conditions and misplaced nationalism. In Brazil, deranged fans have killed soccer players for losing games. Brawls are regular occurences in soccer matches between rival countries in Europe. I think there was a riot in a soccer match that involved a Nigerian Soccer team that left several dead. The Fan that stabbed Monica Seles was European if I recall.

Great Choice!!! I love the scene where he mistakenly kills the One Armed Beggar in the restaurant. There is a new release of that film with 12 minutes of film added that had been cut out. Actor wise I'd have to go with either Hwang Jang Lee or Lo Lieh No other actors can even come close to portraying villains as these 2 except Christopher Lee. What made these 2 great villians was that they could actually kick your ass onscreen or offscreen. I heard that the Cobra will be around 39,000$ MSRP. Don't quote me on that though. I wouldn't be suprised if it's around that considering the 05 GT and V6 retail around the same price as the 1999-2004. The 2003-2004 Cobra's were priced mid 30' to low 40's.

To potentially start life elsewhere. If Adam was THE source of life then the Angels Battling the Evas would initiate the 3rd impact.

If Adam was the source of all life then whenever a Angel engaged one of the Evas(clone of Adam) in combat there would be a 3rd impact. In EOE I think it is Kawarou or Shinji's Mom that tells Shinji that those with the will to live can return from the LCL if they so choose and retain their individual personas. The angels and all human originate from the same Source, Lilith. Kaworou thought that the angels descended from Adam. He was mistaken. He might have been lied to by Seele. When he entered terminal Dogma and saw lilith(the Being that the angels were being drawn towards) He realizes that he had been mistaken. He gives up his life b/c he realizes that there is only space for either the human race or the angels. He felt that the humans were more deserving.
