Welcome back Reason #3 Valkyries don't ask for flowers on Valentine's day or the anniversary when you bought them.

More information. The droplets are paint less than or equal to 1mm in diameter. The droplets when dry give the surface a pebbly texture. I spray in my basement which is about 56 degrees fahrenheit not sure what the humidity is but it's the only place my wife wil allow me to paint in the house . I am spraying on styrene plastic using a Testors external mix air brush can't remember the model number but it's pretty basic. Since it is gloss white paint on white plastic (VF-1 Strike/Super) it wouldn't show on a photo too well. I'm doing the white on the paint because of the green putty (the Testor's white putty is craptastic and the hobby store only had that and Squadron Green) and to cover the swirls in the plastic as well as to give the model a nice smooth surface to apply decals to.

I would use acrylics, but the local hobby stores don't carry Tamiya. All they have are the 1 ounce Testors Acrylics, of which I have no idea of the quality. Sorry no pics. I am holding the air brush about 6-inches away and since I can't afford an air compressor, I am making due with the aerosol cans of propellent.

Ok, I'm following all the directions. Stir the paint with a brush handle until all th clumps are out. Three parts gloss paint to two parts thinner for enamel so it's the consistancy of milk. Yet I still get droplets instead of nice even coverage. How can I get this right? Any suggestions on what to do?

Komillia in 1/6 (either that or giant size Millia in 1/7 scale which would make her around human size )

"Hello." "Hi, can I speak to Joe?" "Sorry there's no 'Joe' at this number." "Is this shake shake shake jiggle twist jiggle shake?" "No, this is shake shake shake jiggle twist jiggle jiggle." "Sorry about that." "That's ok. Happens all the time." -
Somehow I ended up as the "You are somethingawful.com You feel the internet makes you stupid. You like really bad websites. Making fun of stupid people comes naturally. You use Lunix on yuor computar." These people can't spell.

And I also guess this means no syndication since it ends at 98 episodes?

Well, I guess those twelve days for the Save Enterprise ad aren't needed after all.

I heard something about a repackage of the VF-1 non FAST Pack design as a pick the head type ala the VF-1 Strike/Super that they released last year. But that's all I've heard.

Save Enterprise website Just over twelve days left and counting for them to raise money to put an ad in the USA Today paper requesting that Viacom not cancel the show Enterprise. My question is will Archer go down with his ship? If this has already been discussed, my apologies but I couldn't find it on the search function.

Well, at least it looks like the Torch will actually flame on all the way not just with his hands a la Pyro from X-Men 2. I'll give it a chance.

OMIGOD WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whew. I feel better now. -
We could do the YF-1R Jack type. It could have a LED in the head (getting ready to dodge anything thrown at me.) Seriously though it sounds great so long as it comes attached to a VF-1 1/48 of its own. I only got one and Roy's head is staying right where it is.

Survey: Ten Worst Comic Book/Superhero Movies
phoenix01 replied to areaseven's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Fair enough, but I think that supports my argument that he makes crappy movies moreso... the thing is that Alec Baldwin at this point in his career can pick and choose his roles. Why does he choose craptacular ones? Does he think he'll outshine all the rest of the actors in the movie? -

What? Alec Baldwin is a great artist (didn't you watch Team America?) But seriously, he's a great actor that makes crappy movies. But give him a meaty role and he'll eat it up... ever seen the knife set scene in GlenGary GlenRoss? Michael Keaton is also a great actor, he just didnt stretch his natural comedic abilities and decided to go for the straight roles. I never saw GlenGary GlenRoss. But I have seen The Hunt For Red October (good because it was early Clancy and it has Mr Connery), The Shadow (nice visual effects, but the acting was low budget), The Cat in the Hat (I won't waste my time commenting), Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within (yes, he provided a voice for that), Pearl Harbor (it's Titanic with a love triangle), Mercury Rising (I forget what it was about it was that good), Working Girl (he was in that, but I can't remember much about it except we see Melanie Griffith topless), Married to the Mob (with a name like "Cucumber" how can you not take his role seroiusly), Bettlejuice (my two "favorite" actors - pure bliss), and She's Having a Baby (where he's only in about five minutes of the movie). -

Any one remember the 1970's era Dr. Strange? I barely do, but it was so forgettable I can't remember much more than there was one. Another comic related (but not adapted) movie was the Karate Kid. The name is owned by DC comics and in the credits at the end there the blurb about how The Karate Kid is licensed by DC or some such. One and two were good, three was pushing it and four sucked the hairy one. Never saw Barb Wire Batman Forever - Val Kilmer made a more believable Batman/Bruce Wayne than Michael "Deer in the Headlights look" Keaton and George "I forgot how to act in this movie" Clooney. They should have focused on one criminal rather than do the team-up. But the really sucky part was Chris "I never knew how to act in the first place" O'Donnell. Batman and Robin was worse. Alicia Silverstone is yummy to look at, but she can't act. why couldn't they have had nipples on her suit? Blade - good, but I was all vampired out with Anne Rice. Blade II - never saw it or Blade Trinity Brenda Starr - who? Captain America - the 80's era movie was lightyears beyond the 70's era TV show/movie with the guy with the enormous motorcycle helmet. But that's not saying much. Catwoman - never saw it and don't want to Haven't seen the Crow sequels, but if they are as bad as the lameass TV show, I don't want to. Daredevil - Ben Affleck in tights does not a superhero make Elektra - adolescent male fantasy, but I'm no longer an adolescent. The Fantastic Four - Nothing fantastic or even humdrum about this movie from what I hear, but I never saw it. Howard the Duck - George should have stuck with Star Wars. Wait-a-minute, he should have retired. The Hulk Better than Lou Ferigno in terms of what the Hulk could do, but the CGI was a bit much Judge Dredd - the Itallion stallion is a long way from Rocky and going the wrong way. The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen - I liked it, but it left a bad aftertaste. Mystery Men - How can you go wrong with Pee Wee Herman and William H. Macy? Nick Fury: Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. - Dave should have never left the beach. The Phantom - I never liked the strip and I liked this movie less. Popeye - I ham what I ham and that's all that I ham (sic). If it hadn't been a musical it would have been much better. The Punisher - never saw either incarnation. The Shadow - Alec Baldwin is on my all time worst actors list (along with Michael Keaton). If he ever gets elected president, I'll move to another country. Spawn - The stupid clown thing sucked. But that's all I remember. Spider-Man - I remember the TV series not the movie and I remember the bad porn music they had for a soundtrack. Steel - Never saw it. Supergirl - I wish I had never saw it. Superman III and Superman IV: The Quest For Peace - Farces both of them. Tank Girl - I liked, but never read the comic. TMNT II: The Secret of the Ooze and TMNT III: Turtles in Time - Right, next. Wonder Woman - Never saw. X-Men and X2: X-Men United - I liked both, but will I like X3? -
"He will join us or fry, my master." Next will be Luke Spudwalker.

What I think Mechamaniac's talking about is the footage of Britai and Exedol talking about the miclone artifacts and the fact that the ship they are pursuing does not have Meltran but instead this strange mix of Zentran and Meltran miclones. Clash of the Bionoids edited all that out and instead went straight to the SDF-01 Macross glory shot of it coming out of the shadow into the light.
